I really liked the brightness of these bulbs, but the color temperature was a little too harsh and cool. Not the fault of the bulbs, I just didn’t like them. Only gave a four since I never really got a full trial.

Warm light, works great. Replaced halogen bulbs that would get super hot. These seem brighter and nowhere near the heat of the old bulbs.

Quality product, nice and bright!

After years of experimenting and almost paying $400 for a newer Minka Air ceiling fan, these bulbs are the first to work as a replacement for 50 watt mini halogen bulbs.I've tried earlier generation LEDs bulbs in my 10 year old fan and had them had them flicker continuously because Minka uses a wireless switch and speed control on their high end fans. I called Minka and the tech support person said that the fan circuit will not work with LEDs. Then I went out and bought a newer model of the same fan because it had an LED bulb in it and didn't like the way it illuminated. It was also dimmer than what we had so I returned it. I'm not happy with Minka and don't think I'll buy from them again as they really haven't figured out to leverage LED bulbs.About a year ago, I tried some newer bulb designs and had the same flicker problem. I really wanted find an LED replacement to reduce the heat in the fan light so I could use a brighter bulb and not burn up the fan motor or create a fire hazard. Finally I tried these and they work. I will say that when the light is turned on, there is a fraction of a second hesitation before the light activates but then it's fine. That's a trade off I can live with. The fan light is cool to the touch now.I also tried the daylight colored bulb in this same model and it worked as well. It was just too blue in color for our room so I went with the warm white, which is actually a clean white color that's even better for lighting the space. I'm hoping this company will come out with a 100 watt equivalent LED bulb so I can safely boost the brightness of the room even more.

I have a dimmable light and bought this item. The light bulb is not as bright as other 120v and it doesn’t dim very well at all

We replaced our old halogen with these lights. The first two times, we tried cheaper bulbs but they weren't as well insulated and left a residual dim light even when the switch was off. This brand doesn't have that issue - although more expensive, they are well worth it.Also found the color on this was a better shade than others we tried. Pretty close to the original halogen we replaced. Love that they don't get burning hot!

Replaced the T4 halogens I had. These LED's certainly use less electricity. The Color of the light isn't the best, very bright white.Maybe I was just used to the halogen?Color is a lot whiter than the halogens. The original halogens had a much more plesent color.Maybe I will get used to it?

These LEDS replaced two halogen bulbs that were not bright enough, ran really hot, and kept blowing.These are not only brighter than the halogen bulbs, they also use less energy.There is a very brief flicker when turning on.Cannot speak to the longevity yet, I've only had them for a few days.Update: After having these for a few more days, there is unfortunately the occasional flicker. I've lowered my rating to 3 stars.
