It is an audio splitter with a 3.5mm male and two 3.5mm female ends. The whole device is about 22 cm long and the cable itself is 14.5cm in length. It is as described and works as such. It is a gold plated TRS (Tip, Ring, Sleeve) connector, or a plug with 2 black rings. Some complained about the connection being loose and one side not working or in mono. The male end is (unbalanced) stereo and make sure the male end you plug into the female end is also TRS. There is plenty of info on the web if you want to delve into the various audio connector types. Also, the fitting is good. You have to give it that extra nudge after you plug it, to get that clicking feel. Good value for the price. Recommend and would purchase again. Thank you.

It's a pretty simple item with a pretty simple purpose: output sound to two sets of headphones (for example), and that's exactly what it did.I had a friend visit me and with no way for us both to watch movies or listen to music or anything like that, I needed a splitter, and this came up as a great option without breaking my budget.I read a bunch of reviews and rolled the dice hoping I wouldn't get a faulty one, and I didn't, so all I can really say is I feel terrible for anyone the item didn't work for.I'd definitely recommend trying it out first over the more expensive competitors given how simple a headphone splitter *should be,* and return it if there's any kind of defect.5/5, worked perfectly, not much to say other than the price is right and worked as advertised!
