Product is fine and compacted, was suppose to arrive two days later but arrived the next day. When you open it becareful as it's compressed it will go everywhere if you just casually open it. Just trim a bit of the top to let air in and shake the powder to the down.

Having read a few reviews I knew I had to be careful, so when I received the packet I thought I would be careful, what I underestimated was just how careful I needed to be. So my feedback here is advice really for anyone buying this item. When you receive the packet please do the following to minimise the potential mess …. Firstly stand over the sink and do this in the bowl itself or outside on your grass Before opening reshape the packet as it is squished and flattish so pull out the bottom and shake the powder to the bottom of the packet and away from the top, if you don’t it will get everywhere. Tear open, again over the sink bowl itself or outside Use a kitchen towel to wipe the opening inside along the resealable banding If you do spill any or the dust gets out and onto furniture or carpet DO NOT wipe it or brush it! Get your vacuum cleaner and put the tube nozzle attachment on it and pick up the dust using the vacuum by putting the attachment over the dust particles don’t rub the nozzle just lift up and down until you have most if not all of the dust lifted don’t wipe it or you’ll make more work for yourself. If you do need to wipe any remaining dust on hard surfaces use a damp cloth and dab, just remember not to use a good cloth because no matter what cloth you use it will stay black even after rinsing and don’t put it in the wash with your clothes! The recommended dosage is 3.5g in warm water or your food, cooking etc. I would recommend that you use a metal teaspoon or metal measuring spoon to place into your glass, I don’t have a measuring spoon so I put an empty glass on my scales so it would set to zero when I switched the scales on and then I put a bit of the charcoal in using the spoon until I had 3.5g which is roughly about a good teaspoon full. Remember to do this on the sink drainer. When you then fill the glass with the charcoal in it pour gently and only half a glass full to avoid the dust getting out of the glass. Then when you drink it use a straw or you will have black teeth or take it before you brush your teeth. I am sure most of you know this but I wanted to share with you just how important this is so you have the suggestions at the top of your mind when you first receive this. My biggest gripe is that the bag will not reseal the sealing band will not adjoin the sides, no matter how much care I give it. It would pop in then pop out despite countless attempts! So I ended up using a clothes peg and folded the top over to try to keep it secure from opening unexpectedly as you go to grab it. I would suggest you keep it out of the way of kids and somewhere that anyone can see it clearly and lastly make sure you tell everyone in the house just how messy it can be and to be extra careful when moving it or getting at something that might also be with the charcoal in your cupboard etc… If you only intend to ingest activated charcoal, then I would suggest you get the capsules but if you want it for cooking or other purposes then this seems perfect for that. I have not been using it long enough to say if it has been as expected.

Amazing I love it I use for my teeth mostly but it’s has other purposes too
