It helps to stabilize blood sugar, but does not take it down. Can not eat anything you want and expect this to keep sugar low.

I started using Altai in early Feb. I had my A1C tested on Jan. 26th & it was 8.1,the highest it had ever been. On Feb 2nd I began taking Altai once a day . Without any change in my prescription medication on March 10th I had another A1C test & to my surprise & my endocrinologist's my number went down to 6.9 . It may be coincidence but I believe it was the Altai that has helped . I will continue to use this product because I believe it has helped my control my A1C .

If you have used this item from the original site (unavailable now) you will realize that this stuff works and acts nothing like it's predecessor. It's like taking an aspirin from the dollar tree. Don't let the price way on your decision to buy it. Gotta be better options out there that work!
