Kamik Sea Turtle Sandal (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

We bought the size 9 after my son outgrew his Keens, which were a bit too narrow for his foot and rubbing. These fit great, with just enough room to grow. We absolutely love the Kamiks because not only are they beautifully designed, but they are much more freely adjustable for comfort and size than other toddler sandals like Keens. These also allow for easy on/off by parents and kids. Big win. Will definitely be buying these again in the future!

The shoes are well made and are so cute. My daughter is 8 years old, she is handicap and struggles with balance at times. I have noticed that the shoes she wears tend to make a very big difference in her balance. It seems that if a shoes is too heavy she drags her feet and sometimes trips and falls.These shoes are light weight and offer great arch support. She seems to love them! They look cute with her sun dresses and jeans, so they are very versitle. These are stylish, comfortable and affordable shoes!

I got this sandals for my 2 1/5 year old. He is a big boy so he wears size 9 which gives just a little extra room for his feet to grow. This shoes don't give so much extra room as others so depending how snug is the fit of your kid feet with other brands i would consider trying a size bigger.What i like is that the front of the shoe is very well protected. we live in a rural area full of rocks, dirt, grass and sticks everywhere and my little kid is not a cautious boy, he is rough and likes to run around full speed so i really need to protect his toes and this does the job.Also i like that it is really easy to put on, simply get the velcro in the heel or the top loose and it will give a good opening to slip the foot easily even while wearing socks.What i DIDNT like , is that the velcro closer to the toes is completely decorative (PICTURES 1 and 2) , it doesn't allow to give more room close to the toes which for me would have been nice because i notice my sons pinky and big toe get a little red after wearing this ones for a whileAlso don't like that the straps are so thick, would have liked a thinner material that would bend more flat when you are adjusting the position of the velcro.And lastly another thing i don't like is that when you adjust the straps to have it more loose , then you have this scratchy velcro section uncovered that sticks to everything and it drives me crazy (PICTURE 3 and 4 you can see by the color on the strap how much it has already caught on other fabrics)If you found this review useful please click the YES button at the end of the review

These are a great boys summer shoe and are the second pair we have bought of this model. The first pair held up well for a very active child who is very rough on shoes. Wet, dry, mud, etc. The fit is fairly true to size for length and we found them to be a bit wide which works well for his feet. The rubber toe provides good protection. We'll continue to buy this brand for sure.

I like these more than my daughter does. She's a bit shy of three and finds all the straps confusing. She doesn't seem to understand that the strap closest to the toes doesn't need to be opened every time. "I do it my elf!," she says, then gets frustrated. So they don't get worn as much as her mary jane sparkle shoes by plae that has just one strap. She'd rather wear her old Pediped sandals that she can put on easily. Nevermind the dog chewed them and they fall off her foot now.The fact that the Kamiks can adjust to her growing feet is great. They dry relatively quickly, protect her toes and stay on her feet. Until she takes them off and runs around barefoot. :-) I find them to be more affordable and just as attractive, durable and functional as Keens.

Great product for toddler. Runs small, but thankfully the back strap is adjustable, so she was able to wear them much longer than she could've otherwise.

I bought a pair of these for my 4 year old boy. BEST SHOES EVER!!! We have had them for 4 months now and they still look as good as they did the day they came in the mail. VERY tough, very durable, very easy to clean. I've taken a scrub brush to them a few times and they show no wear and tear despite the hard living conditions they have been subjected to. And so versatile...my son wears them everywhere!!! Pool, church, school - they fit in wherever. I rarely write a review. But I appreciate this company for making such a great product that I want to give them KUDOS!!!!

They seemed to fit as expected but our toddler with slightly wide feet hated wearing them even though the fit seemed perfect . . . back they went.
