Fits the V3-472P, but do not recommend buying keyboard alone for V3-472P
The Acer Aspire V3-472P is terribly designed- through no part of this seller.I have replaced laptop keyboards before, but was not prepared for this level of 'planned obsolescence' courtesy of Acer.To replace this particular keyboard, for the V3-472P model:1) Remove the battery, and every last screw from the underside. Be sure to take out the fake cd-rom device, as this will 'pinch' the main board and prevent you from taking the halves apart cleanly2) Use a plastic card to pop the upper and lower halves apart *while the lid is closed*. You won't succeed while the lid is open3) Unhook many cables while keeping careful track of where they go4) Eventually free the keyboard/plate from the bottom of the device5) Curse Acer as you realize you need to BREAK plastic rivets to free the keyboard from their attempt to look like a MacBook (the 'one piece metal plate'). A pair of flat-nosed pliers can 'pinch' the rivets off nicely.6) Realize why other places online are selling the entire upper plate as one part for $507) Write a review on Amazon since this information/images didn't seem to be anywhere else online8) Reassemble and pray. I was lucky. Quality of new keyboard isn't quite OEM (not as springy, keys wobble when pressed all the way down), but it'll do for now.

It took some time to fix the keyboard. Once fixed key works and feels well. Nice and smooth keys.
