J-Bars Ski & Snowboard Boot Fitting Aid, 4 Pack, Eliminates Heel Lift, 1/8 Inch Firm Foam

I could not ski at all due to foot pain. I never had this problem untill my 30s and I have been skiing and snowboarding since I was 2. I went to my pro shop and had a insert added, and these to eliminate heel lift. I can ski again! I delt with this problem for 4 years had to actually take my snowboard or ski boots completely off after about two runs due to cramping. Product is awesome for the heal lift problem. I can ski with my boots at the proper tightness now, not cranked down to keep my foot in place. I do highly recommend a foot bed not custom but around $30-60from a professional ski shop. Make sure you get someone that actually knows what they are doing. They took an imprint of my foot on a floor pad and fitted me to the proper foot bed for the arch of my foot.

It is a little strange that they come in a zip-loc baggie with no instructions, but it is pretty intuitive to figure out how to apply them to your boot liner. Have not used them yet but test fitting my ski boot on, I can tell they will work as designed. I am looking forward to next ski season.

I felt only a very minor difference with keeping my heels down. Would I buy this again? NO. What I ended up doing was just going to my local home improvement store and I bought adhesive foam which is basically what this product is. It's just adhesive foam that's cut into a "J" shape. I just cut the adhesive foam I bought into a custom shape and did a trial and error fitting until it felt good. TRUST ME, just go buy adhesive foam and do it yourself. It cost less and you get more than just two small pieces of foam.

Works perfectly. I put this on my boot liner and I had no problems with heel lift in my boots. I also added a snowboard boot heel wedge. My heel was perfect this weekend during riding. Only problem I have now is finding the sweet spot of boot and binding strap tightening to give me the optimum control.

So easy, snugged up the heel hold on my 6 yr old liners, got another season out of them at least, maybe even next season.

It threw me that these arrived in a zip lock baggie with no instructions, no label. The placement of these types of products are critical to proper fit. So now I have to Google how to use this product because they are too cheap to include instructions for small pieces of sticky foam for $20. More time I have to waste for a product that should have at least come with instructions for $20. Purchased from Shred Soles, the manufacturer.

These are nothing special and the glue barely does anything I still have to duck tape over them to get them to stay. Definitely making my own next time. Find the Angry Snowboarders video on YouTube if you need help. Definitely not paying this price for this quality again.

They work but adhesive could've stronger. price could be better. There's an youtube video to show exactly how to put these on. Very helpful
