These are both sturdy and compostable!
These are very practical. We had a large party at my congregation. It was a breeze to clean up. We compost so all the plates and flatware( also compostable) and cups( also compostable) went into compostable bags. Easy peasy!

Sturdy and compostable.
I love these plates. No waxy coating. Work well in the microwave, and with hot items. As long as they are not really good soiled, they are recyclable. And if the are, they are compostable. They are sturdy enough that you don’t have to “ double up”, and the non-bleached color is satisfying to me.
