Spider-Man: No Way Home: Spider-Man's Very Strange Day!

Great message
I don’t know why someone said this book is depressing. We all have bad days and it’s a reminder of when you do go out and explore something new! There’s a new fun adventure right around the corner. Loved the bright cheery colours and the ending has a wonderful message about home.

It's depressing
The book starts out with page after page of negativity. Terrible book for a young kid. Why would I read this with my grandson? Spider man is his hero. Will either return it or burn it.

What is the point of this book? Sending it back
This book is awful. I bought it because there were positive reviews, & I thought the artwork looked cute & engaging. Instead of an exciting adventure, Spider-Man is down & depressed & takes a walk through a bizarre building with a rat filled basement & a portal. Lots of weird symbolism. I couldn’t get my son to even sit through listening to the entire thing. And my older son’s husband all agreed, they hated it too. It’s confusing & boring, & not at all what I thought it’d be. And because I bought it for Christmas, it’s outside the send back date. Super frustrating.

Perfect book with a good moral!
Love that this book is all about not being down on yourself. Along with the amazing illustration, the story is simple and fun (and funny!). Also love that there are no villains so my youngest son doesn’t get spooked, like lots of other Spider-Man books! Would recommend!!

Honestly not a great book
There's something weird about the book, it's disjointed. I never write reviews about kids books by the way but thought I'd advise, buy something different!
