Jury’s out
I knew I still had one snail (found it at night with a flashlight), so my lettuce had some holes. It’s possible that this tape has kept the rest at bay. I gave it 4 stars because I cut my finger open on it. Wear leather gloves when applying! The edges are sharp! Once it’s on, nothing to hurt you. Anyway, I bought a 2nd roll for another bin that gets too many rolly pollies (pill bugs). Fingers crossed.

Absolutely does nothing
I feel like I was pranked. Put it down and literally watched the snails glide right over it (see pics) And it could not be returned or refunded. Also tried oats, like social media suggested. lol..watched them eat the oats (face palm)

difficult to use on planters
The width of the copper tape makes it impossible to use one long piece to lay flat. It is sharp so cut my fingers trying to get it to lay smoothly along the inside rim of my planter.

Not sure about product
Not sure if it works but I haven’t seen any slugs in my garden so it probably does. I put down slug bait too so not sure if it’s the tape or bait that’s keeping them away.

Does NOT work at all
THis just doesn't work at all. Not much more that can be said as it does not work. I even doubled the width around the pot and it just did not work. I am not sure how they even get away with saying this works.

These are a great solution to dealing with the snails that like to eat my Meyer Lemon Trees.
I put a strip of tape around each of the pots holding the Meyer Lemon trees. I had more than enough length to do the 5 large pots. I used the tape remaining to protect some of my hostas. It is currently 105-degrees F. outside, so I have not seen a snail and do not expect to see one for quite some time. I do not know where they are, but they are smart enough to stay out of the intense heat.As such, I have not been able to test the effectiveness of this tape, but I expect it to work. From my research, snails die when they try to cross copper.Just wipe off the pots with a clean rag and some rubbing alcohol. Allow the pots to dry and then apply the tape. The hardest part is moving the pots so that you can work on them. Applying the tape is easy. This is a great non-toxic solution for humans and pets. I do not have to worry about my dog when using this tape like I would if I were using snail bait. This also keeps my garden organic. Snail bait would not. When the snails do make an appearance again, I fully expect this tape to do a great job in protecting my Meyer Lemon trees and my hostas. The snails are going to have to find a different garden to dine upon.

Don't buy!
This tape was a joke! First night I used it a couple slugs got over it. Second night there were 20 made there way over it. Waste of money
