Blown away by the video quality for the price
The media could not be loaded. I have some land near Yosemite and I wanted to see if there were any animals on the property when we weren't around. I bought three trail cams looking for something decent with little investment. I got a Tasco from Walmart, a Stealth brand and this WOSODA. The Tasco took decent pics, but triggered on every little branch blowing in the breeze and the Stealth was good, maybe as good as this one, but it was twice the price. I paid $36 for this unit and it is WAY better than I expected. I just bought another one since I've now got the videos off the SD card. I originally only put in a 32GB SD card not knowing what to expect. This time I bought a 256GB for the new camera because the videos were so good. If I fill this one then I'll go for 512GB and then 1TB (which this camera can go up to).I set it up in April of 2024 and just now took it down to check the videos. So it was out for a whole year in the 120 degree summer days and 10 degree winter nights, rain, snow etc. and a bear even pawed it a couple times. Still works like a charm and still looks brand new.It takes 8 AA batteries, so used Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries because I didn't know how much it would possibly burn through batteries since I was taking all videos. Well after a year of videos and the temperature changes it still has FULL battery indicator. It took great videos in pitch black, just at dawn when infrared light was still getting triggered, in the day bright sun and when shaded in the day. It got just a little grainy in the shadows just at dusk, but even then was plenty good enough.I was recording 20 seconds videos. I edited a few together for your enjoyment, I tried to get a good mix of lighting conditions AND these are AFTER I had to cut down the video quality so the files were small enough to upload to Amazon.

Edited review: great customer service and a good camera!
Customer service made things right. I was sent a new camera and the new one worked perfect. I really like the video quality from these cameras for this price point. The camera has another feature that I really like. When you have the camera on setup mode, it allows you to see where the camera is aimed. The screen is on the body of the camera and not the door. I also like that the battery compartment comes out. It’s very nice to load. Conclusion: I would get this camera again!Original review is below.**Old review: I have 2 of these cameras and put them out in the woods at the same time. One of them worked great and the other did not. Formated each SD card after putting it in the camera. The same SD card brand was used for both cameras. I put them in the woods 3 hours away and then went back to check on them just before gun deer season. Very disappointed that only one of the cameras worked. Blurry photos, "snow" on the top of the video then nothing. After having them out in the woods for over a month due to the drive I'm out of the return window and I'm stuck with a bad non-working camera. **

Good pics. Good price. Great find.
Bought one of these on a whim on sale to try it out. This cam has been out for over 2 months and been through some nasty storms we have had in the area. Works great. Pictures are clear (even pics of squirrels jumping around) day and night.I have mine set to medium sensitivity for motion detection and to take 2 30mp pics in succession in case 1 is blurry. Very easy to set up. Put a lock on it and no one can get to the card inside or pull the batteries.I use Duracell procell batteries and they are holding up excellent.Get a basic SD card and format it and your ready to get down to business!

Very happy with Wosoda Trail Cam.
I am Very very pleased... with my Wosoda Trail Cam. The video and photo capabilities are very good. I live in an area with active wildlife and more active Mt. Lion activity and this camera has been perfect for alerting me to dangerous situations.I put this camera up 3 days ago and it has captured great video of deer, skunks, fox and turkeys.I like to check the SD card daily, will turn off throughout the day to save on battery. BUT in saying that, the battery also lasts a good time when left on continuously. Great Design, Good Night vision, Easy easy to setup and use. I would recommend and I would continue to be a customer and supporter of Wodsods.

Great camera for a great price.
Great camera for the price! I personally own ten of thse cameras and have used them for almost a year now and I would still reccomend them to you. Battery life is pretty good but the night videos drop to very short clips as the batteries die. This is because of the infra-red night vision lights used. But I do have my lag times set to ten seconds and only shoot videos not photos. Time and date options are very ccurate as well as the weather data. Note I would reccomend the Wosoda G600 trail cameras as they are able to shoot in 4K.

Uses batteries quickly and takes lots of pictures of nothing
We have seen plenty of wildlife with this camera including decent night photos, but battery use and hypersensitivity remain issues with it. I've changed sensitivity settings on the camera but I still get a majority of the images (or video) of nothing but moving leaves or grass. The micro SD card is on the bottom of the door and easily falls to the ground when trying to remove it. The main control switch is also on the bottom of the door so be prepared to either dismount the camera or lay on the ground to see the switch. Why a company would disregard the user experience is beyond me. I would have rated it even lower but it does take decent pictures and video, but they should have considered user-experience.

Worked great for a while.
The media could not be loaded. Worked great for about 3 months. Took great night pictures and videos. Then started to taking fuzzy night time pictures and videos. Now eats batteries for lunch. Still takes great daytime pictures and videos. Useless at night. It don't matter how cheap it is, if it don't work when you need it. It is worthless. After writing this review, I was contacted by the manufacturer which stated that they appreciate my review and they are working on the issue.I give customer service 2 thumbs up for reaching out to me on their own. Most companies don’t care once they have your money. 2 stars for product, 2 stars for customer service.
