AJ Tack Wholesale Hay Bag

So it was great idea, but not meant for a horse. I have a 3 year old OTTB who is a little mouthy like a little puppy. This bag lasted Friday night when I got it, Saturday and Sunday morning we found this. So I liked the design of the bag. It has a back ring to let you thread a chain to sting it into place so it doesn’t collapse and the two rings on top to allow for a large opening. I was able to fit a large flake of grass and dense flake of alfalfa in the bag.

I bought in two colors and am very pleased with it. It is not designed as a permanent feeder but as a tack along hay bag or feeder for camping or trail riding (or when you need to distract the horse for some reason, such as for tedious grooming) They are larger than I expected . I am very pleased with them as I really wanted a sturdier bag that did not have a mesh bottom. Would buy again.

I'm not sure why some of the low ratings but then we are not heavy travelers with our horses - mostly just around town and not all the time. For our purposes, these have worked just fine. I haven't had these that long - that's because the ones just like them lasted for years and were just recently replaced with these.

I bought one and it was great and lasted a lot longer than the ones I was buying at the feed store. I even bought a second one so I could make sure I always have a full one ready to switch out when they emptied one.

Bought these to use with our goats. Goats have been mostly confined to stalls for two weeks due to bad weather. Each goat has one of these hay bags in their stall as their only source of hay. I refill it daily. They are holding up great. After two weeks of being subjected to a bored goat, they are showing no damage that I can tell. Have boer goats with horns, and none of our girls have gotten their head stuck in it. Will buy again.

These bags are much larger than any other hay bag you will find in your typical feed and ranch stores. Also, they come with there own clips, even though there not shown in picture it comes with a double end clip

Received the product on Monday and by Tuesday it was torn and the back loop was gone. The fabric is not sturdy enough for a horse and the fabric is way too thin. Disappointed as I really need a hay bag for one of my older horses!
