This is an honest review as I am allergic to most hair dyes and after extensive research I tried this one, and hence I want people to benefit from it. The product doesnt contain any PPD but it still has a derivate of PPD , which is usually lighter . So after a patch test, I used this color and thankfully I didn't get any itching, rashes or reactions. But it washes out pretty quickly, may be after 2-3 washes . I am glad I have found atleast sth to cover my greys.

Much healthier than standard hair colors

Very bad, dried up my hair it became so stiff and frizzy, plus it caused an allergic reaction.

Expensive and nothing special on it

This did not do a good job of covering the gray hairs I have. Also, not enough product to do medium/long hair. I won't be buying it again.

It was slow getting delivered but it arrived. I have always had scalp and skin sensitivity to hair color. Severe rashes and swollen glands. I just finished drying my hair and what can I say. No reaction whatsoever. Beautiful deep black color. Covered the grey, my hair is shinny and no tangles. Would highly recommend. My days of taking benadryl and suffering are gone. Will definitely be ordering again.

very weak with no effect

My husband has tried several products, most of which gave him unbearable itching or took hours to apply and then washed out in a hurry. This works well for him. Gives good colour, easy to apply, giving a 20 min wait after applying, and lasts pretty well. No allergic reaction, which is a great relief (pun intended).

This hair color was easy to use. I bought the dark blonde color and added gray magic which helps my hair retain the color, since I have very fine hair. The color came out much darker. I thought it would lighten after a week or so. However, the color didn't lighten at all, until I was ready to color my roots, 5 weeks later! I have not had problems with using Gray Magic in hair color before, so have to believe it was Schwarzkopf, as other reviewers have stated. Next time I will go down a shade and see if I can get dark blonde.
