Proving to be quite helpful
The instructions for putting the cultivator are tenuous at best. Had to guess at the small provided pictures. However, the cultivator is well constructed and performs well.

Your only regret will be not getting one sooner.
This investment is well worth the money! If you can turn a wrench - okay, two wrenches, a 10mm and a 13mm - you can assemble this tool in 30 minutes or less. The instructions, while not a full schematic, give sufficient visual information for you to quickly puzzle out how the pieces should interconnect. I had ZERO need to drill out or otherwise machine any components, nothing took a hammer to "convince" it into place, and the parts are fairly intuitive as far as their relation the whole. I have over an acre of desert property under cultivation and landscaping, which I've been working with a gas powered weed whip and hand hoes and shovels, etc. This tool will replace most of the hoeing and shoveling (and their wasteful reciprocating motion) with faster, more efficient one way motion - virtually 100% of your energy input results in weed cutting. Lightweight, easy to use, well made. I like it.

Has potential but not good!
Not a good product! Directions for assembly are just a picture with no correlating part list or anything. The nuts are not lock tight so they just came out after a small amount of use! And all of the bolts and nuts are different sizes. I had to find a bolt and match it up with a nut to make it fit! If I could give the product half a star for that reason alone I would!

Works great
Took 25 minutes to put it all together could have did it in 20 minutes if one of the bolt holes had been drilled straight through. Had to make one of the holes a little bigger so bolt holes would line up straight through. Picture to show what I am talking about. But other than that I think it is a good product made strong enough. I have a lot of rocks in my garden and both of the v shaped plow points work great.

Its ok. Works but there's Lot of poor choices in the design
It does the job and is sturdy-ish. Im hard on a push plow/push hoe. If they aren't built sturdy i can bend one in half. This isn't built like a bulldozer but im not afraid of breaking it any time soon but it's got a lot of issues. Needs longer bolts and lock washers because using it for 30 minutes half of everything gets all loose which is awful. The method for attaching the tool arm to the body of the cultivator is terrible. The metal tubing (like the rest of it) is JUST thick enough not to buckle under use so the bolts and nuts are easy to over tighten and bend it in slightly if you're trying to make sure everything is secure so it doesn't get all rattly and loose. Holes aren't drilled perfectly aligned either on everything so it can be hard to get the bolts through, especially for the tool arms. bolts for attaching the arms is a bad choice because the threads & holes booger one another and wallow out or bind up and garden dirt makes swapping parts a nightmare. I'll have to upgrade it to some round wire lock pins like it should have had to begin with. Method of attaching the root cutter blade to the arm is pretty bad too. Soft phillips head screws that strip if you look at them wrong with a nut on the other side with no lock washer and loosen from use. Having to carry a wrench and screwdriver in my pocket just to weed my garden has turned me off of using it as much as i should. Handle angles are WEIRD. Handle angle needs to be closer to vertical but these are more like horizontal and the rubber is kinda loose on them (which is actually good for me, as in the future i can remove the rubber easily to heat the handles to bend them into the correct position). Along with the weird handle angles, the regular loop style blade and the root cutter are not easily interchangeable as they are different heights, requiring you to change the height of the handles in order to swap them and use it comfortably. I'm happy enough with it for what it is just using the root cutter blade but I guess but if im being honest i wish I'd have just spent more money on a different brand because i don't know how this ever made it past R&D in this sorry state. Good enough if you're a cheapskate gardener though.

Great Easy to Use Tool for Removing Weeds
Works very well on dry dirt to remove weeds. It is a little harder to use when the soil is damp. We are able to do a large area in a small amount of time and then just rake up the weeds. Instructions for assembly were a little hard to follow but we figured it out. One bolt broke when assembling but we were able to get it together. Overall a good product and helps tremendously in our large garden.

Solid; better price than Hoss; beautiful design and has interchangeable stirrup hoe and sweep!
It is solid metal! It is a super value compared to Hoss or Johnnies. (Note the first picture assembly is *wrong* ... handles go on the *outside* of the body as in pic 2.) Has a seeder option. I am not a aware of any wheel hoe with a sweep; I'm thrilled about using this on my big garden. Why is this such a internet secret!!!! Also, I attached the seeder adapter so it won't get lost. And I used wing nut. I think I'll change all the nuts to wing nuts with lock washers.

Purchased several year ago. I do a 3 acre market garden. Other than that the bolts and nuts became loose, I love this hoe. I’ve replaced the problem ones with lock nuts. I used it so much that the blade wore out. Made a new one with heavier steel. I would totally recommend this tool.

Other reviewers mention difficulty in assembly. I am 78 with a partially paralysed leg and I had no difficulty at all. I didn't time it but estimate less than half an hour. Maybe the UK version is different. I tried it on a piece of ground I am preparing for sowing and it cut through weeds very effectively. I also tried it up and down between rows of seedlings and it is easy to control, much quicker than a dutch hoe and much easier on the back and shoulders - I'm feeling my age! In a perfect world it would have been good to have easily available cultivator and potato ridger attachments but weed control with less effort is a good start and I may look for the right size square section steel tube to adapt other fitments. Only two size spanners required and I may make a little spares box to hang on the machine with spanners, spare nuts and bolts etc. so they are ready to hand when required. It's early days, but I'm quite impressed with it so far. After a week's intensive use the nuts and bolts on the handle were coming loose. Fixed it with a couple of shake proof washers from my bits box. Would be a good idea if they were supplied as standard. Also noticed that the nuts on the bolts that hold the hoe tools in place were coming loose. Didn't want to risk over tightening for fear of compressing the tube and making the tool jam. I noticed that someone commented that this has happened to their machine so they can't change tools. Bits box to the rescue again with a couple of 6 mm trailer spring locking pins. Had to drill the holes out to 6.5 mm to be sure of an easy fit. So far works well and avoids risk of dropped nuts, bolts and spanner in the middle of the plot trying to change hoes with cold fingers! Overall a good wheel hoe but supplying shake proof washers and spring lockng pins would have made it better. Not everyone has a bits box! Had it two months now and just been hoeing round with it after a weeks rain had prevented hoeing and the weeds took full advantage. Hoeing with this is like going for a walk pushing it in front of you. So much easier on the back and shoulders and gets the job done so quickly. We've been harvesting new potatoes for a week and the home made ridger attachment made life so much easier. Like hoeing, it's just a matter of walking up and down the rows. The plot edger attachment I made is not quite so successful. It keeps the edges neat, but you have to work at it. If you grow vegetables I would thoroughly recommend this machine to keep your plot tidy and reasonably weed free. Bought this in early April and it is now late September. Still working well and the shake proof washers have kept the handles tight. I found the height adjustment bolts came loose too so drilled through to insert a trailer locking pin which solved the problem. Just come in from clearing black nightshade from part of the plot preparing for overwintering crop Scythed through the roots like butter! Last year I was seriously thinking about giving up veg. growing due to back and shoulder aches but with this machine I have had bumper crops! Had this machine for over a year now and still pleased with it subject to the minor modifications I have made. Found some tools from a different maker in a junk shop and made an attachment to fit them to my wheel hoe in particular a deep hoeing tool ideal for going up and down narrow rows. Plot is neat and tidy and crops growing well.

The wheel hoe works well and the 3 different how blades included are appreciate as other name brands sell them separately. A claw hook cultivator and hiller attachments would be ideal to release for this unit. The blades are very sharp and care must be taken to avoid injury. But they cut weeds well which is ideal. The seeder I had from an earlier purchase doesn't work well. It attaches to the hoe nicely but the seeder is flawed in design. The place the seeds drop from gets plugged up easy preventing seed drop. Some of the planters seize up preventing the axle from turning. I spent an hour modifying mine last night and today testing it attached to the hoe it clogged in half a row. I'll try it again when it's drier I suppose. Overall hoe is a good purchase worth the money. Seeder is not
