Great light! Easy to read instructions in full sized perfect english( not a Chinese attempt at English). USA contact info and phone #. Installation was a breeze to mount for use then easily folds up so you can shut doors on cabinet. I got the version with a/c adapter to save on battery usage( inside negative polarity on adapter). Lights up board well, with no shadows. Great lighting solution for boards with a cabinet, at a great price. Very happy with puchase, and would highly recommend.

Great product for dart boards in a cabinet. A life saver for evening games. It burns through batteries pretty quick but it's a great product overall.

Love this! I was kinda skeptical that I would illuminate my board in a cabinet, but it does with little to no shadow. Would recommend for anyone with a board in a cabinet.

I purchased the Viper Shadow Buster Dartboard Cabinet Mounted Display Light to go with my Viper 850 Dartboard (Also Reviewed on Amazon). My garage, where the dartboard is located, just doesn’t have enough lights in it for night time darts. We could play, but it was a bit hard to see. During the day, when the sun is out, I can open the garage doors and see well enough, but at night, that just wasn’t the case. So, I decided to purchase this light to try and fix that problem. As you can see from the pictures that I posted with this review, the lights do a pretty good job of illuminating the board. However, getting them positioned right, was not so easy. Let me explain . . . The lights are meant to be mounted on a pre-existing cabinet, based on the name of the product. However, no instructions are included with how to mount the light (to a cabinet or anything else, for that matter). In fact, not even some screws were included with the light that came with the order. Thankfully, there was a power adapter, which alleviated the need for batteries, but seriously, no screws? Granted, we’re just talking about 4 screws, that were needed, but still, it would have been nice to have some sort of guidance telling me how high and how far from the wall the lights needed to be in order to be effective for illuminated the dart board. Anyway, I decided to get an 8’ piece of 2x2 lumber from the local hardware store and had them cut 18” off the end for me. I bought some “L” brackets and some screws to mount it on the wall and mount the light to the 2x2. I then painted it black to match the wall of the garage and then mounted the light to the wood. Then I turned it on AND IT WASN’T FAR ENOUGH AWAY FROM THE WALL! So, more than half of my bullseye was in a shadow that made it really hard to see. Granted, I could have plugged the light in and then held it over the board first to see where/how far from the wall it needed to be, but again, some instructions would have been really useful about now. So, I have a chop saw of my own, and I used it to cut off another 18” of the 2x2 and then I screwed one 2x2 into the other 2x2, painted it, and then re-mounted the light to it, which now put it 4” from the wall. As you can see, the light is about 3” above the dart board and is 4” from the wall, which provides enough light to make the light useful and make it possible to play darts with that light and that light alone, if desired. To that end, once the light was mounted properly, it works quite well and I’m happy with it. I just wish the process for getting it mounted had been less painful, which starts with having better instructions (READ: ANY Instructions) provided from the manufacture for mounting. I give the product 5 stars, but the lack of instructions and screws 1 star, which averages out to 3/5 stars for this product. So, knowing that, I hope you find this review helpful and that it allows you to make a more informed buying decision. The Light does work, but you just have to be prepared for doing what it takes to get it mounted over your dart board. Best of luck! NOTE: If I had to do it over again, I would still buy this light, BUT knowing what I know now, I would have bought a 1x4 or 1x6 instead of 2x2.

My cabinet came with a built in light but my board was too thick and the light was not very good. I installed the Shadow Buster on my cabinet and all my concerns about light vanished. This light is great. We can even play in total darkness except for this light. It solved my problem and does not disturb anyone else in the room. Great buy.

Wie im Titel schon erwähnt ist das Licht wirklich sehr hell ( LED ) und mit vier Schrauben sehr schnell an der Scheibe befestigt. Bei uns hängt die Scheibe draußen auf der Terrasse und bei einsetzender Dämmerung kann man die Felder durch das Licht sehr gut erkennen. Preis und Qualität passen, ein tolles Produkt.
