I absolutely love this mat. Great quality, safe materials, neutral colors, no off gassing smells when we got it, comfortable to sit on, love it! We got it to replace our skip hop foam tiles mat. This mat is much more comfortable to sit on vs the skip hop. I also love how this mat is one piece so it’s MUCH easier to clean than the puzzle type mats. I am very picky with baby items and this meets all of my needs. It was a little slippery at first like some other reviews mentioned, but after being in use I don’t notice that much anymore. The only downside is dog nails….my medium sized dogs have managed to pierce the material when jumping from the couch onto the mat. This results in little pieces of the material sticking up that I do worry my baby would be able to peel off/try to eat. It’s 2 sides so I’ll flip it over, but be careful if you have dogs. I’ve not noticed any problems from them simply walking on it though so that’s great. The skip hop didn’t even stand up to them walking on it without leaving marks. Overall, I totally recommend this mat!

Having hardwood floors makes for a nervous mama with 2 young kids who are learning to sit up, crawl, and play. This mat was a no brainer for us! My kids have spilled paint, colored off the page with markers and it all came off with a quick baby wipe. When we did happen to create a bigger, harder to clean mess, they responded to my message quickly and went above and beyond.So, seriously.. this is your sign - get the mat!
