It's hard to say anything good....
Update #2: After 90 days of ownership and very sparing use (probably equivalent to about 2 weeks) this monitor started flashing on and off ever few seconds. Changed entire set-up, changed computers, the result was identical. Looks like it is destined for the landfill. Very expensive mistake.Update: Below is an honest review of the product. My update concerns the attempt by the seller to buy good reviews. After the sale, I was promised a 50% rebate if I gave them a 5 star review. My review would have been the same regardless of the "reward." And then they backed out on the 50% rebate, blaming it on hard times because of the well over year old Covid 19. What ridiculous thinking is that? You have to wonder if there is also a warranty.. Sad.I'm used to watching video on a 4K TV and do graphic work on a 5K 27" iMac. This is HD (1920 x 1080) but has stunning color and image quality. I like to see the heavily HDR'd lead in to the Amazon series "Bosch" to judge picture quality and this was run HDMI to HDMI with USB-C power provided by the computer. This little thing passed with flying colors and I hadn't even removed the plastic shipping cover yet. Even text was sharp and clear. Set up was totally intuitive and took about a minute. The contrast and brightness both needed to be tweaked a little but, again, no manual needed. This will be the main monitor on a new M1 Mac Mini for mobile use and will be used for all sorts of photo art and other graphics. The sound was adequate as long as you were at normal monitor distances but probably wouldn't be that strong from across the room. I didn't care for the use of the furnished pen as a stand and quickly grabbed my iPad stand so that it could be tilted to a better angle. Speaking of angles, the viewing angle was impressive. No where did I get that washed out purple smear that low angle monitors can give you. Though text may not be readable at that extreme angle, images were clear and sharp. I was testing this against using the Luna Display adapter on the Mini with a late model iPad Air. There is no comparison. For ease of use and picture quality, this Geoyeao was the hands down winner. If I have any negative, it would have to be that I would have liked to have gotten a soft carry bag.

Fantastic portable monitor!
I have been using this portable monitor for about a week now and absolutely adore it. It's super convenient to use and is totally plug-and-play for a variety of devices, plus mine came with a folding magnetic cover that you can use to prop the monitor up while you're using it. I bought this anticipating that I would primarily use it for my laptop or one of my gaming consoles, and it does work great for those, but I was surprised to find that I loved it so much, I've actually made it an extra monitor for my desktop gaming PC! Now I have it propped up under my main monitor and while I'm playing games on my main monitor, I can have Discord or whatever else I need pulled up on this little guy and it's made multi-tasking so much easier. I used to have a regular second monitor on my desk and replaced it with this portable monitor full-time because it takes up so much less space on my desk and is nicer picture quality than my other secondary monitor was.NOTE for PC gamers: If you have any issues getting a desktop PC to recognize it, specifically if you have a gaming rig like I do, you may have to get an adapter to plug it directly into your graphics card. I couldn't get the monitor to show up on my PC at first until I realized my GPU wasn't allowing it to read from the motherboard ports, and my HDMI-in port on my GPU was already being used by my main monitor, so I spent a few bucks on a HDMI-to-DisplayPort adapter so that I could plug this portable monitor into my DisplayPort spot on my GPU. (Again, all of this is irrelevant if you don't have a dedicated GPU, but I have a 3070 and thought this was worth mentioning for fellow gamers looking for a portable bonus monitor!)

The Perfect Coffee Shop Monitor
Starting this year, I now work 100% remote. While my desk and large monitor are nice to have at home, you can only work there for so long. I try and get out of the house to work once a week to work at either a coffee shop or brewery. For the past couple months I have been using just my laptop and while I am able to get my work done, the single monitor greatly limits my productivity.I started looking around for a second screen but was met with a very large amount of options that all seemed similar. I specifically wanted a monitor that had multiple input options and the ability to run on a single USB C cable. I use a 2020 Macbook Pro as my main computer so having the connection options was super important. I also wanted something light since i don't really love a bag that feels like it is full of bricks. This monitor hit all the dots and for a price that couldn't be beat. It is extremely slim and weighs next to nothing. Next to my macbook pro, the brightness levels are plenty similar that it doesn't seem to cause any issues for me. The 1080p resolution is more than enough for all my work tasks. I now have the ability to keep my slack open on one monitor while keeping my main work on the other. To top it all off, it just looks slick! You definitely get a ton of eyeballs on you since the portable monitor space has not totally picked up just yet. For anyone working remotely, I can't recommend this monitor enough.

Great lightweight monitor
I received the new Geoyeao 16” monitor today and wanted to test it out. It came with everything in the box as advertised, but mine included a screen protector that I didn’t notice in the description (big bonus). It is a very nice lightweight monitor. I liked the layout of the connections on the monitor and the ease of changing things on the menu with the scroll wheel. I didn’t change anything out of the box except raised the volume up from the default.I tested it with my ASUS 14” Chromebook and you can see how much bigger it is next to it. Awesome second monitor for it. I have the Samsung S20+ that I connected to it. It received the power from both the Chromebook and my phone without need of extra external power. My main goal for getting the monitor is to use with my Samsung phone and the Samsung DEX. If you aren’t familiar with DEX, you can use select Samsung devices and connect them to an external monitor and it will display similar to a laptop. This will make it great for the travel I do with no networks available because I have more storage on my phone and it is lighter to carry. It is just a bit over 1.5 pounds while my Chromebook that is smaller is about 3.25 pounds and my Sony laptop that has a 15.9” screen is over 5 pounds. This monitor as a carry on for my flights is going to be awesome.I would recommend it based on everything I tested and wanted in portable monitor.

Came in super handy!
Update: still really love this monitor! Figured out display settings and I love it 👌🏼. Also, I discovered I can use the laptop with the charging cable plugged into the actual charger or connect the charging cable to another port on my laptop and the monitor will still work. Super happy with this product!Honestly, it came in very handy for the uses I needed. I'm on a time crunch and was really struggling just working off my laptop. I have an HP Pavilion x360 and use the HDMI cable to connect the portable monitor. Love that it has speakers. I can switch from my laptop to the monitor whenever I prefer. I watch videos/tutorials for work and school and it's been a pretty good experience so far.The screen quality is nice! I still have to play around with the settings though. For ex: If I'm working at night and lower the brightness all the way down on my laptop the monitor is still bright. But like I said I must see if it's just something I need to modify in the settings. I feel much more productive now that I have more screen space.I use touch screen for nearly everything. I'm going to have to get use to the fact that this isn't touch screen, lol. I thought the pen that came with it was going to allow me to use it as a touch screen. I didn't realize it was an actual pen (LOL). I must admit, the pen was smart hack! However, not the sturdiest approach since it is the only thing keeping the monitor standing up.Also, be prepared to use extension cords if you must use the HDMI for connection. The HDMI is on the left side while the charging cable is on the right and the monitor only works when both are connected.I haven't had to use customer service yet, but it seems like they really care about their customers!Honestly, prob the longest review I've ever left, but this monitor is worth it. Super light and decent quality for busy people on the go! Also, for the price I def recommend.
