Buying furniture and similar accessories from Amazon has become somewhat of a joke. Prices are through the roof, and that applies to even the crappiest of crap. I recently bought a cheap TV stand that seriously came with hollow plastic legs. And it's not good plastic, either. You can squeeze them like a drinking straw. It's really become quite unbelievable what they can get away with, given the growing issue with shrinkflation and all.So it's high praise when I say that I am seriously impressed with the quality of this lamp. It's rock-solid, assembles in about 20 minutes, and looks like a dream. It is classy, attractive, and well-built.The only thing I feel needs to be mentioned is that it's VERY easy to overtighten the included screws. There are plastic threads that help lock the screws in place. While I appreciate this addition, you have to be extremely careful when tightening. Trust me, you'll start hearing cracking and creaking—that's your first and only warning that it's time to stop tightening.The plus side is that after the first or second screw, you'll know when to stop tightening before it starts making those worrisome sounds. Other than that, this is a fantastic lamp that looks great and adds a lot of character to the room.I like that it's equipped with a small circular touch plate—about the size of a quarter—that controls the three lighting settings. Each setting is a noticeable improvement over the last, making the dimmer a functional, worthwhile inclusion.For the price, this lamp is a steal.

Easy to put together - everything provided plus extra screws and threaded pole. The direction sheet made sense once I found it in the bag with one of the shelves. And the direction sheet gave a list of all the parts that came in the box with a number for each kind which helped using the assembly directions. included are wooden shelves and square posts. All were packaged safely and came unharmed. The uprights are held together with screws on the bottom for the first set of posts, threaded rods for all the rest, topped by another set of screws. As you put it together, do pay attention to which side of each post is facing outward as their construction seems to result in each post having one side that shows it's made of glued pieces. Not hardly visible, but something I chose to pay attention to when screwing the posts on so that this barely visible texture faced inward.The lamp is surprisingly sturdy once put together. It took me a little longer than it should because I didn't realize the square posts are two sizes, so I started out at the bottom not noticing I'd used two longer and two shorter posts, but not hard to fix. Included in the parts are four wooden caps to cover the screws used to attach the top AND a 2-level LED light. Everything needed to use immediately after assembly. I'm nearly 80 and found the assembly is easy.This column lamp replaced a 36" long table at the end of my bed used for a CPAP machine, portable telephone, and a table lamp among other things which would get knocked to the floor - sometimes by the kitty. This lamp seemed like an alternative which would provide light, charging for my phone or another item, and space for my CPAP machine. It does all of this and has a two-level light turned on with a simple tap to the round button on the table shelf where the USB ports and a regular outlet are.Although is seems quite stable, It will probably be a good idea to put some heavy books on the bottom shelf to avoid it being knocked over. It's only 10 1/4 inches square - 12 inches square might have been nicer, but might not have been as stable. An advantage is that it doesn't take up much room, but fits a lot into a small floor space.I felt the price I paid - just under $50 was reasonable. And it's lower now. Assembling this lamp would also be a fun activity to do with children from around age 10 to 20.

Double update The seller reached out to me and offered to send replacement parts. I'm surprised and I appreciate it. Absolutely worth another star, but that last one is still off for it not being very sturdy. I still love itUpdate, the USB broke after using for like two weeks, not impressed. I was very generous with my original review because I really wanted to like it. The wobblyness of it and the fact that it's breaking already made me take off two stars. It's not like it's that cheap of a price either, I guess they don't mind selling kinda crappy stuff. Still looks nice and the light works fine but I'm not holding out that this will last through the year.Firstly, this light is super cool. It's exactly how it looks in the pictures and looks great in my house. My only issue is its super wobbly. The wood is thin and the hardware is kind of cheap.For the manufacturer, it would be a great idea to put threaded metal inserts in place of the... nothing that it currently uses. I'm not afraid of it tipping over, but if it gets bumped it will move quite a bit. If you could tighten it more I think it would help but you need to be careful to not overnighter anything as it's kind of cheap quality.I still gave it 5 stars because I really like it. Maybe I should have taken one off for sturdiness but I really like it.The touch power button is a cool feature too. I love the usb ports built in as well, very functional. It would be nice if they were high speed ports, but again it's great as is. You can always plug in a faster power supply to the 110 plug if you have to have top speed charging all the time.Another idea would be to integrate wireless charging into it. I plan to cut out room for my wireless charger to fit inside one if the shelves so I just place my phone there and its charging. Super cool light tho. I'm happy.

I bought these lamps for my living room because they had built in USB charging ports and an outlet, plus they are touch control. I needed shelves also, so these were perfect. They are sturdy, look beautiful and I couldn't beat the price anywhere else. The assembly was super easy and I couldn't be happier with them. I bought 2 I highly recommend this lamp

Aunque el precio se me hizo elevado la lámpara hasta ahora ha funcionado bien está bonita solo que en la base no tiene gomas para separarla del piso solo unas calcomanías muy delgadas tuve que comprar aparte plástico adherente y pues el precio debería de incluir mejor calidad
