Good Horsing Around Fun For Kids... I'm Glad There Is An Off Switch Though
The media could not be loaded. I actually got this as a "fun" present for the whole family to play, not just my kids. The horse looks good in the box with a touch of Toy Story's Bullseye to it, but the "Try Me" button on mine wasn't working so I couldn't have a sneak peek into how it sounded. Not to worry though as once unboxed, there is a little switch to flick ON and once done, the horse now responded to my actions. Strangely the "Demo" button also started to work. Batteries have been included with mine (contrary to the Amazon listing saying none are included) and it takes 3 X AAA.However... where were the 10 Command Cards? I looked everywhere, paranoid they'd fallen out and I'd lost them or they were never included in the first place! I simply couldn't find them. That was until I found the secret compartment near the power switch on the underside of the horse. I've included a collage photo to show you where it is and also I show it in my video. It is a good way to keep the cards together with the horse. Crisis averted.Everything slots together but I'd recommend a parent doing this as the reins need a good click into position. However once "built" the telescopic pole does indeed open and close (roughly tripling in length) and meaning it is a bit easier to tidy away with the other toys. Though it is a bit annoying that it doesn't stay in the closed position very well (if at all!).With the head switched on and the power switch in Game Mode (the "I" icon), pressing the button on the top of the head cycles through the games. Sadly in some ways this button is a bit of a disappointment. It definitely makes selection easier but your told to stroke and pat the head so it would have been better if this had been a touch sensor rather than a button. Oh well. The horse responds to movement with a trotting sound for going forward and a neighing when coming to a stop. It's reasonably responsive but not always. Place the command cards around a room, select a game and off you go. It's good silly fun and my kids loved it. I did too for a bit but if I'm honest, that horse's voice does get a bit grating after a while and I'm glad there's an Off switch.

Disappointed
I couldn't message regarding my order. I purchased 3 for Christmas gifts. Unfortunately the one that I gave my children does not work. Complete waste of money. Would not recommend.

Kids love it.
The media could not be loaded. I loved how the horses head interacted with the kids whilst playing. All the time they kept it moving it didn’t shut up lol. But once put down and no motion occurring it does go quite. Although it does have an on, off and introductory mode button underneath. Which they didn’t bother with. Because once they picked it up again, it chats away and plays games with them again. Easy press button on top of head, Patting sensor on nose and feed me noises, by pressing tongue. The cards to play the games, go on the floor. They are stored under the head near the on/off switch and battery compartment. The younger kids didn’t really understand the card games. But it didn’t matter. The horse still makes all the noises to keep them entertained as long as they played with it. The pole extension isn’t too long when pulled out. Great that it pushes back in and can be unscrewed easily to store away in the toy cupboard. Age group played with it, was a 3 year old who liked pressing the button and tongue part. Whilst it was held for her. Then an autistic 9 year old, who absolutely loved it. It kept her highly entertained and running about the garden and indoors from the moment it arrived. So this toy was a big hit. I initially thought the horses head was a bit heavy. But once the reign and pole are added and held the correct way, it does balance the weight out for the child to use ok. In my opinion I think the age 4 plus recommended on the box is pretty much correct. Although the younger ones can still make the horse talk and make noises when added by an adult to help them.
