Wonderful System
I did my homework on this system before my purchase. Based on my findings, the biggest concern was if the ice makers (we have two in our fridge) would function properly. Otherwise, the system functions as advertised.Space saver - absolutelyMinimal waste - VERY IMPORTANT because we live in CA. The old system was sending water to waste 24/7. Not good. This system only sends water to waste while it is dispensing water. Tremendous difference.Water quality and taste - Our water straight out of the tap is between 150 and 350 TDS (total dissolved solids). Water filtered by the PurePlus system is 7-10 TDS. Amazing! The taste is great - Note: Make sure you run the system for AT LEAST 30 min non stop when first installed to flush the filters. If you’re worried about wasting water run it in pitchers or whatever so you can water plants with it.Installation- Every situation is going to be different. The optimal would of course be if you are replacing a conventional RO system. In our case there was only one glitch because a washer was missing from the Feed Water Adapter.Economics - Totally worth it if you are able to install it yourself. Note - it requires you have a power outlet under the sink. Shouldn’t be a problem if you have a dishwasher and disposal. Just make sure you use an adapter where the DW is plugged in so you can also plug in your new PP R/O to the same outlet.Convenience - You will have to make some adjustments. There is a slight delay for the pump to get water through the system. You will also notice higher TDS readings on the faucet display when you turn the faucet because the pump has to push the water through the system. We fill up a gallon pitcher in the morning to minimize waste.Ice Makers - Drum roll…they work fine! Only difference is the cubes are a bit smaller due to the slight delayed response for the pump to move water through the system.Update; The filters are available via Amazon. I ordered a replacement set when I bought the system and they arrived in a couple days

Customer Service is Exceptional
I have never reviewed a product or service on Amazon, but the customer service provided by Pureplus was so exceptional that I feel compelled to share my experience. I cannot say enough good things about the Pureplus customer service.A month ago we were notified by our water company that our drinking water exceeded the maximum level of PFAs (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl substances) set by the State of New Jersey, and that the water company would not be able to filter out these harmful substances until at least the middle of 2023. I contacted Pureplus to find out whether the Pureplus filter in our refrigerator filtered out PFAs. Pureplus responded immediately, explaining that the filter in the refrigerator did not filter out PFAs, but Pureplus had a reverse osmosis system that did indeed filter out PFAs.Most point-of-use reverse osmosis systems on the market will not fit under our kitchen sink. They are generally designed with a large tank and the space needed for the tank is already used by our food waste disposer. However, the Pureplus system is designed differently. It has a slim design that enables it to fit very easily under the sink.I had a lot of questions that needed to be answered before deciding to purchase the Pureplus system, and I sent several emails to Pureplus to get answers. Pureplus responded to each of my emails very promptly and very thoroughly. I even had an additional question after installing the system, and, again, Pureplus answered right away.Installation of the system was a breeze. So far the system is working as promised and I am very pleased.

Problems, customer service helped, more problems
Another update: Terrible sulfur smell and taste back… very disappointingUpdate: Customer service was great! They sent new filters and the RO filter was the problem. It has been three months since the replacement and the sulfur smell/taste is gone. The particle number on the faucet is still usually high but water tastes fine and no smell. Hoping it continues to work!Initial review: Worked really well for a few weeks and tasted great. Now water smells and tastes of sulfur. Tried flushing for 20 minutes as suggested by poorly translated user manual. Didn’t help. Would return but problems started as soon as return window closed. It was installed correctly.

does not get much bellow 80 ppm on TDS meter.
I like the idea of conserving waste water and the TDS meter built into the gooseneck is pretty accurate when compared to my separate had-held meter. Purchased in June 2023 it filtered well. Normal TDS for my water in Scottsdale is about 750 ppm. This system began by outputting below 20 TDS which I consider to be pretty good. After first carbon filter replacement in June 2024 the TDS output began creeping up to about 40 PPM so today I replaced the RO filter even though it didn't ask to be replaced. Initial output of water is now at 80 PPM which I am hoping is indicative of the flushing process. I'm a little disappointed on the upward creep of the TDS and would be satisfied if I can get to below 40 PPM. I just don't know how to do it. As an aside, the ro filter asks that you rinse and soak the filter before installing. I do not see how this is possible given the tightly contained filter medium with only two small holes on the end for water to get in and out. The old filter that I removed appears to be pressurized with no way of getting water into or out of those holes.

kids love it
I purchased it about a month ago and so far I am loving it!!! At first I was a little hesitant because I was worried about the difficulty of installing it, but the description said it was easy to install and I decided to give it a try.The instructions were very detailed and made the installation easier than previous units, with all the connections done in one place. This makes it easier overall. Also, the connection of the individual filters is very simple. Just put it in the designated slot and turn it. I can stick it under the sink and still have plenty of storage space. The unit was perfect. The water tastes refreshing and has no aftertaste. The kids love it. The family loves it too, great.
