Wire broke after a year and a half.
These are my daily drivers at home right now, but they require a little power to drive, so if you don't have an amp they might be difficult to get loud. Although, I'm sure most phones would be fine, even outdoors. However I don't recommend using outdoors, the wires easily stain with sweat after just using them once for a run. I have since only wore them in a sitting position and after 1.5 years, the cable between the left ear connector and wire wore out very very quickly, and snapped off... Idk how that could happen so easily when I've only used them after the first month inside and taken good care of them. Its not like I'm putting the cable in the case every day, in fact I usually just leave them on my desk lying free, so be very careful with that cable.

Adapt to suit and these won’t disappoint
Far better than I expected given the purchase price, and even better still once I changed out the MMCX cable for one that put the star deducting supplied cable to shame. I also added different tips and have ran them for 36hrs solid on a mid volume through an HD DAP to “bed them in” ... some faffing around on my part, but no different from the faffing I’ve done with £1,000 iem’s ... these are obviously not on par with my high end gear, but, are comparable with gear I’ve owned that are 2 or 3 times the cost of these little beauties. Light weight needs to be mentioned, with the right tips and a soft cable added to their weight, these are very comfortable to wear for prolonged periods, which is something that cannot be said for the steel iem’s that seem to be fashionable at present ... I’d recommend these for commuting and for open plan offices without a doubt ... if you are an audio snob I’d suggest looking elsewhere, but if you are looking for something with a great clarity of range, good mids, not harsh in the highs and enough lows to not come over as trying to hard, then for the money you can’t go wrong.

My search for a universal IEM ends with the iBasso IT01s
I was looking for a universal in-ear monitor (IEM) to use at my desktop but also for occasional travel. My budget started at $100 but I eventually realized that the combination of sound signature, sound quality, build quality, and comfort at that price was not quite what I desired. It wasn’t until I increased my budget to $200 then to $300 that I found the feature set I sought. After much reading and researching over a couple of months I narrowed my choices to the Moondrop Kanas Pros, BGVP DM6, iBasso IT01s, and Massdrop Plus Universal IEMs. All are excellent IEMs, but based on the reviews I thought the iBasso IT01s best suited me.The IT01s has a sound signature that suits my music preferences, a premium copper cable with a silver-plated shield, 2.5mm MMCX balanced connection AND a 3.5mm single-ended adapter, a large selection of silicone and foam eartips, removable screens for ease of cleaning, a sturdy metal carrying case, and a simple but very attractive design. The MMCX connectors were a little hard to snap on, but they felt secure. I haven't tried removing them yet as I have no need to do so. The IT01s are a little large and don't sit quite flush to my ears, but they are light and comfortable. They don't completely isolate from outside noise, but that's okay by me.The only concern I had before purchasing the IT01s was that I've read that these IEMs require a 200hr burn-in for optimal sound quality. I'm not certain if the burn-in made much of a difference. It may make a difference for someone with more discerning hearing, or with better aural memory. I thought it sounded great out-of-the-box, at different times during burn-in, and after burn-in.Although the IT01s costs more than some of the other IEMs I considered, I don't feel a need to replace the stock cable or eartips, which likely would have been the case for the other IEMs and increase the total cost. In this sense, I feel that the IT01s with the included accessories is an excellent value. Good job iBasso! So, for now, my search for a universal IEM ends with the iBasso IT01s. Hopefully I won't get the upgrade bug for a while!
