Kitty and the Kidnap Trap

My son loves these books! And Paula Harrison has written yet another fun Kitty tail... I mean tale. Both my kids devoured the story in one sitting.

She got this for doing good in school, she collects them as they come out and loves the books

My 7 year old absolutely adores all the adventures of kitty and her kitten friends. We almost didn’t even know about this book because without a bit of digging it doesn’t show up on Amazon like the others do in the US. But none the less it is another wonderful story and she is always cou rain down until the next story.

This set of books was a gift to my granddaughter. She was absolutely thrilled. Arrived as promised.

The first thing that grabbed my attention with this book was it’s beautiful front cover. This was enough for me to choose the book and then quickly peruse its content.I must say my daughter (7 years old) is not an avid reader but the colourful drawings caught her attention immediately and started to read it by herself.The illustrator is so talented, pictures are absolutely beautiful and the writer knows how to keep little one’s attention on the book for sure.The main character Kitty has superpowers which means she can run, jump and balance just like a cat. She also has super powered hearing and a brilliant night vision. Best of all she can talk to animals and understand what they say. She is supposed to look after her friend’s hamster Marvin while her friend (Emily) is away however Marvin was kidnapped. I won’t tell what will happen but I can assure you that it’s a very exciting story for children.Overall it’s an easy to read delightful story that kept my daughter occupied this afternoon.I can highly recommend this book.

It seems that tnis is the 7th book in the Kitty adventures but each book covers a full story, which is very exciting. There are 115 pages of writing and text which I feel could be enjoyed sharing a book with a child or from about 7 the child reading themselves. I liked that in the front of the book there was a picture of the characters, who they were and their own special talent.The story is exciting with Kitty offering to look after her best friends hamster, while she is away at her grandmother's for the weekend.When things go wrong, Kitty has the super powers to tackle the bad guys in the story, a bunch of not very nice rats. The illustrations are brilliant, predominantly in black, white, orange and browns. I also liked that some of the night-time writing was white on a black background.A lovely story that can be read again and again
