For many years I'd been searching for a journaling Bible. I researched prices, bindings, translations, the size of the space provided for the actual note taking or journaling, I looked for the perfect Bible, only to find that it was way out of budget. I desperately wanted a journaling bible but was on a tight budget and chose to get this one. I am so glad I "settled" for this one, it is beautiful, resistant, and the highest of quality. This bible surpassed my expections! I was expecting a floppy, poorly put together, and a Bible that would fall apart as I flipped through the pages.Do not let the price, translation or the lack of feedbacks discourage you from buying this journaling bible. As perfect as I think this bible is. I'll list some of the things I would change if I could: I would change the color: I'm more of a black, gray or white, simple girl. I would make this pages thicker. The following is the difference in the translation: (Translations I always use)“The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. I started attending a bible journaling class a couple of months ago and had this bible recommended to me by a friend who knows how minimally creative I am. This Bible is filled with a combination of tons of super cute, ready-to-color, templates already printed into it as well as margins that are big enough for you to do your own drawings/note taking in. I purchased the hardcover version and it is very sturdy and well constructed. You really can’t go wrong with this Bible if you’re in the market for a good journaling Bible.

I love that there is plenty of room to write notes on the side margin. I do have to use cheater glasses, but I do with everything else too. I love that I can color the pages and the summary at the beginning of each chapter is wonderful. I love, love, love this Bible.

I love this Bible! The translation is so nice. The pages are a bit thicker than normal Bible pages so are much better for Bible Journaling. The margins offer plenty of space for creativity as well as some designs to get you started. The font is easy to read. I studied the large variety of translations, columns, margins, paper colors and font types offered in person at a Christian store and on here for three weeks before I decided on this one and am really happy with my decision.

I purchased this product for my sister-in-law who’s going through a rough time and could really use a good Bible. I have the same one and I absolutely love it. It’s great that you can doodle in it color and write important notes. You can highlight scriptures and really follow along in church. My Bible is quite colorful more like a scrapbook of life-changing events. I was unaware that it was used. It did not mention the description. I’m disappointed for that because the cover looks like it has some damage but the inside of the book so far looks OK.

I love this Bible. I waited for this one to come out because I really wanted the red letter edition. This did not disappoint. The art work is beautiful though not as abundant as the Creative or Inspire Bibles but to my way of thinking that's alright. The 2.25" margins offer plenty of room for notes or original artistic interpretation. The pages are good quality paper and the print is decent sized. For the money, this is a winner!

I’ve been curious about the world of Bible journaling for some time but always felt intimidated; I don’t see myself as “creative” in the artistic sense. But I’ve wanted to go deeper into my time in Scripture and just couldn’t give up on the idea of Bible journaling. I shopped around for a Bible that was affordable yet of good quality in a language I could understand. I was thrilled to find this one. The price fit my budget and the quality is superb! I love the “coloring pages” as well as the wide margins to add my own notes or scribbles. Plus the Word stays with me in a way it didn’t! I wish I would have started Bible journaling sooner! I highly recommend this Bible!

I saw this as many for the first time here on Amazon so I brought it. When I opened the packaging I lost my breath. It is absolutely stunning! I color often due to anxiety and depression and now I have an all in one beautiful bible that will give me the pleasure of coloring and the blessings of the word of God.

Having been into creative journaling and bible colouring for some years now, whilst reading and contemplating God’s Word, I already own a few of the most popular journaling bibles - the Inspire, Praise, Promise and Creative brands - but I just wanted one with the MEV translation. This is based on the same text as the King James but updated into modern English which is so much easier to understand. However, at this price, I didn’t expect to receive such a lovely journaling bible with so many varied illustrations! It truly is beautiful for such a low cost. The pages are of good quality, semi matte, off-white and not too thin. There is a nice presentation page to colour and the 66 book introductions set with further illustrations. There are two inch ruled margins on virtually every page and some full page illustrations to colour as well as numerous elongated, margin illustrations in various styles to suit all tastes. The only slight downside..? There is no ribbon marker and the font is a little smaller than other creative bibles, being only a standard 8 point; whereas others tend to start at 8.65 and there isn’t a large print version of this Bible either. That said, the font is a very modern, clearly spaced, black typeface which makes it look more legible than your average small print and it’s nothing my readers can’t handle! So coupled with the quality, smyth sewn binding and the sturdy hard cover with pretty pattern and gold foil, it really is very good value for money and looks every bit as gorgeous as the more expensive ones. You’ve everything you need to get started on what is a very relaxing and rewarding hobby. Ideal for beginners to creative journaling, as it’s not so daunting with slightly less pictures to colour - just over 160 illustrations in this one, as compared to most other popular brands that have closer to 500!! I love it as I prefer the MEV translation, as well as the overall aesthetic look and feel of this bible. What really tops it all off for me though, is Christ’s words are printed in a lovely cyan red which I believe is unique in these types of bibles. So yes, I think it’s brilliant and I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase and tend to use it more than my others.

I like that this bible has areas where you can color but also plenty of blank margins for you to either draw/doodle or to take notes. I wish the paper was a little thicker but that's my only complaint.

The Bible came a little dirty, with minimal damage, for $27 Canadian I cannot complain. With a wipe down, it’s good as new. The version is a great size to travel with, I purchased a version for triple the price but it’s also triple the size and weight. This one would be my preference for travelling with me. (Although it most likely wouldn’t fit the traditional Bible case) The picture designs are creative, well designed, and there’s a lot of room in the margin for journaling. I was worried with all the space allotted, the text would be too small to read, but it’s a great size. Very happy with my purchase!

Très belle bible en anglais... qui me ferait regretter l'achat de ma bible journal de bord... Le prix déjà et la bible en elle même... Avec des marges lignées, des pages de notes vierges lignées, des dessins à colorier etc... Elle est assez compréhensible malgré mon niveau moyen en anglais. Je recommande. Par contre, reçue avec un des coins cassé d'où l'étoile en moins...
