These bags make life so much easier for when I make my cold brew at home. Less mess and super easy to use.

I’ve use these to make about a gallon of cold brew all spring and summer and I love them. However, if I only use the bag, it will make a cold brew that has some fine coffee sediment that has an unpleasant mouthfeel to me and it will have that sludge at bottom of every glass. The solution for me is to the cold brew again through a pour over coffee maker with bonded filter. That makes a super smooth cold brew I’d expect at a professional coffee shop or store concentrate. It’s a pretty slow process but all I have to do is refill the pour over every few minutes until it’s done and then I have a week or so supply of cold brew. Having the bag makes this process so much easier and less messy because I can easily remove 99% of the beans so the paper filter only needs to worry that last 1% of fine sediment. I’ve made a lot of cold brew over 10 years and this is easily the best system I’ve used or seen in regards to lowest effort and cost yet yielding highest quality. TLDR This bag isn’t great on it’s own for making cold brew but has been useful in making it with a pour over and finer filter cheaply and efficiently.

At first I was skeptical, but after using them I found them to be very high quality. The mesh material never tears after steeping the coffee for up to 36 hours. You can squeeze every last bit of cold brew out of the bag with no worries of it breaking. The ones I used before filled the inside of the Toddy Cold Brewer, these do not. Yet these are superior at a fraction of the price. These are my new go to cold brewer filter bags!

They are working great. They make clean up after a brew so easy and no mess. To me it's worth the extra cost over a cheaper paper filter.

I buy these to make my own cold brew coffee at home. You just add coffee to the bag and put it in a pitcher of water to steep overnight and voila, you’ve got your own cold brew. I use a 1:1 ratio for a very strong concentrate that I can then mix with water when I make a coffee, but you can use more water/less coffee if you want it weaker. You can either leave the bag in the pitcher or squeeze it out and toss after 24 hours.
