A Very Special Book

My goodness, what a wonderful book this is! I was expecting a rather nice book with photos of London shop fronts, which I'd love, but what I got is so much more. Each entry provides a really evocative history of the shop and the people associated with it. Taken together we get a wonderful view of London through a different lens. The photos are beautiful and we often get the bonus of unexpected details. A must read for lovers of London and of shops! Tricia Cunningham
