Sturdy, but heavy
They seem sturdy enough, shiny black color. They are however very heavy compared to other folding chairs I've had to carry and set-up. Maybe that's because im of better quality and high weight they can hold. They have good leg covers to protect the floors which is a nice feature. I think these will do.

Dark grey, not blue. Think, "Char."
The chairs are fine. Sturdy. They are not bariatric chairs, though, They may be able to hold the weight of your 400 lb. friend, but your friend would need a much wider chair to sit comfortably. Mostly I just wanted something that wasn't gonna fall apart in 6 months, and these look like they'll hold up. The reason my review is a little low is because of the color. I wanted blue. Any shade of blue. These are most definitely grey. Dark grey, (think "char".) They do not even look blue in bright sunlight. If you want dark grey, I would recommend them. They are an attractive shade of grey, and the finish has held even with me knocking them around and my adult son standing on them. They are reasonably priced for card chairs, and I am keeping mine. But if you really, really want blue, either breakout the spray paint or look elsewhere.

I order twelve chairs. I received 4 yesterday. I received 4 today and the other 4 will not be here until Tuesday. They were all ordered at the same time and they were Prime. We were needing them Saturday, March 25, 2017 for my Daughter's wedding. Now what do we do?

These chairs are sturdy and a great value. We purchased them for extra seating at Christmas, they are not flimsy and we weren't afraid to seat larger people at them.
