Livin' on a Prayer
I have had the worst week "camping" so far but this thing gave me hope. I'll wow the story after the review because this isn't a recipe on a clickbait site. This bulb is replacing a something like $25 battery-powered pull-up lantern and it's easily twice as bright and doesn't need constant battery replacement. It does have a hook attachment, which is great whether your tent has a hook or loop at top. The churning sound in the video is my laptop cooling stand. Yes I'm doing hero wars in the video. Don't judge me. I'm also running some AI image generation so I can't really play real games right now. That aside, this light is bright, easy to connect, and cheap as hell. The cord is plenty long for a tent. You could use a phone charger, a power strip with USB, or supposedly a power bank, though the one I tried didn't make it work. Might have been too low on power. This one is connected to my laptop though. So what happened to bring us here? Well, as I said, this has been a vacation from hell to an extent. First off, we forgot a ton of things. Second, the weatherproofing on my tent is virtually gone, as are the connections to two opposing corners. We had a massive rainstorm and I had to quickly excise any electronics to the trailer just in case. Then the trailer started leaking at the vents. Then, as I was trying to get it of the tent to use the facilities, I tripped over the threshold and at the very least bruised a couple ribs. Don't get old, everyone. We've spent hundreds fixing and preparing since the first day but I'm hopeful that things are going to get better before good is over and we have to go back to 110f+ heat. The worst thing though? The Mexican restaurant in walking distance from our campsite is gone this year! Looks like a big remodel though, so positivity is needed! Anyway, for anyone that read this far: 10% recommend these lights. I tried to be as subdued as possible as I said "holy [expletive] when I saw how bright this bulb is. If it's for a tent or any small space, you can't really go wrong. Hard 5/5 here. 8/5 really because it so exceeds my expectations. It's really a very simple plug and play bulb. The USB plug isn't heating up, the bulb is cooler than you'd think for such a bright LED, the color is super soothing warm white, and if I had any gripe it's that there's no dimmer. You won't care though. It's the perfect brightness.

This is a great plug in light!
I bought these lights in case of a power outage and just to have them around if I ever need them. I have a little hand held solar powered charger - 2 actually and I can plug these lights into the USB ports on the solar charger! It comes in a package of 2 with an extra cord that will join them together so you only need to use 1 USB port instead of 2 if you want to use them both at the same time. I just realized this today after I looked at the pictures more closely because I had no idea what that extra cord was for lol. So I tried it out and it works! It also has an on off switch on the wire which is great. When I'm not using it, I can turn it off with the button that way it won't keep using solar and drain my battery bank or if I only want one of them on when they are both attached. They are not a bright white. They have the yellow tint to them so they are not the brightest, but they are bright enough. Not dim - but not like a clear glass LED. But I like them so much - they are handy - that I reordered another set and will probably get a couple more. But I'm going to see if I can find clear glass ones first.

Great USB lights
Plugs into any battery pack with a USB port. Each light has it's own switch and can link them together. Works great for camping, or power outages. Used for 5 nights to light up the tent at night, very low power draw.,

Works as advertised.
Nice bright lights that work well with my old USB-A power banks. Great for emergencies or camping. The one drawback is that they deplete the bank more quickly than I’d have expected.

Great camper upgrade.
These were a great upgrade for our camper kitchen. The cheest 12V automotive bulb made the stovetop very hard to see. I wired in a USBA charger to the light switch and now my stove top is much easier to see and cooking is much easier. I also put them on each side of the bed for a local light that you don't hace to get out of bed to turn on and off and it has made our outings more enjoyable.

Much brighter than expected
Note: I test and often times essentially abuse a product before writing a review. These bulbs do in fact light up an entire room. One can read, write, and even solder electronic components with the light these bulbs produce. Each bulb draws 1 amp of current. So make sure your USB power supply is capable of producing a minimum of 1 amp (1,000ma) for each bulb connected. I have used a standard 2 amp output USB cell phone charger. It is capable of powering two of these bulbs without effort. If you use a battery based power bank, make sure it has the ability to provide the needed amperage. Do NOT connect both bulbs to a 1 amp output source. Doing so can destroy both the battery bank as well as a USB wall charger. While each computer system can vary, I STRONGLY SUGGEST never connecting even one of these bulbs to any computer USB port. They simply do not produce the current needed in most cases. Over-drawing amperage via a computer USB port CAN potentially cause a fatal failure of the mother-board, thus destroying the system. Often times in fractions of a second. And do not worry at all. The heat produced by these bulbs is entirely normal and expected. They will NOT burn you, but if left on and somehow covered up, the resistors controlling current to each LED could fail prematurely. They do not require moving air. Just try to ensure they are not sealed off from fresh air. And NEVER connect these bulbs to any source which provides more than 5 volts direct current. Final note: If using a battery bank, do not leave the light switch in the on position while the battery bank is switched off. Such banks utilize a monitoring voltage to detect when a device is connected. The bulb will not trigger every bank to turn on. As a result, the bulb will flash very dimly while draining your battery bank. It is NOT a defect in the bulb. It is merely the action of the bank's circuitry.

Nice emergency lights
Great backup light for power outages. I hung one under lamp shade, with jackery 300 battery backup, perfect brightness (not to bright). Has hook for hanging. Everything seams good if not great quality. LED bulbs should last long at 2.5 amps 5 volts.

Good to have!!
Works good in a pinch, would rather use these than candles and they are safer!
