Great for travel
I was looking for a sudoku book that could lay flat while I travel because I hate it when the pages flip over when I set it down. Very pleased with this product and I’m excited there is a more challenging version! Will be purchasing that shortly.

Keep me busy
It'll definitely keep u entertained for a while. The puzzles arent so hard u can't get them and not too easy. Good mix of difficulty.

Perfect size. Wish they made more.
I love these versions of Suduko. The spiral binding makes it so much easier than 95% of the other Suduko books out there (why don't they make all of these books this way?). And the size is also good. They could go slightly bigger and it would still be a good size but I hate the books that are 8.5 x 11 as they are too uncomfortable to hold. This is the only Suduko book I have found that are the perfect size with spiral binding. And unfortunately, they only make 4 versions (Easy, Medium, Hard, Grandmaster) and I have a difficult time with the Hard and Grandmaster so they are useless to me. But I do enjoy the ones I can do and re-order them because, again, they are the only ones that are the perfect size with binding.

Great product for the hobby seeking mind thinker!
I am pretty intelligent but never could understand how to do sudoku. One day, I was reading a Woman's World magazine and it had the instructions plain and clear and I gave Sudoku a try; it was addictive and gave me another way to wind down to sleep (Celebrity Crossworlds is the other way). This book arrived in the mail and the BEST part is that it is portable. It is a flip book, like a detective carries, so I can carry it with me around the house and in my purse as I learn Sudoku. I am doing each puzzle page by page. I have developed a technique that seems to work and, each puzzle is so thought intensive, it occupies my mind in times of stress. This is a great product for people LEARNING Sudoku. The easy ones are HARD; I can't imagine who is capable of doing the hard ones.Update: the negative reviewer states the boxes are too small to write multiple numbers in a box. While this is true, this does not take away from the enjoyment of solving the puzzles. I write the work product on a separate sheet of paper. What IS frustrating is the location and size of the answers. They are written back to back upside down in TINY print behind all the puzzles. Sometimes I don't even check my answers out of frustration at having to flip to the back and upside down.

Late to the Sudoku world...
I never could get into Sudoku but it recently clicked and got an app for my iPad but am trying to limit screen time so bought this book. (an aside: app vs. writing, each has their positives and negatives)I was looking for something compact and small to throw in my work bag/keep on nightstand and this fits the bill, the binder rings are a little big, maybe they could be smaller, I don't know? Not really that big of a deal though. A nice addition would be a little ribbon to mark the spot you're at or mark the answers page of the puzzle you're on but that's easy enough to DIY.More about Sudoku...it calms my mind and really helps me relax at night which often leads to better sleep. I guess it's a lot like reading in that it feels like a lesser form of meditation. They say the brain is a muscle that needs to be worked like any other muscle in your body. If don't feel mentally challenged enough in daily life (routine) or need a challenging distraction, working any type of puzzle can help. The end.

A Good Thing for my Brain
I love Sudoku but hadn't played it for years and was out of practice. I found the first few puzzles to be challenging....enough so that I thought "If #5 is so hard, what will #195 be like???" I don't have the answer to that yet because I'm still in the "easy" section. I am pleased that my skills have sharpened and that I'm able to complete each puzzle with out looking at the answers. I feel like playing Sudoku is a good thing I can do for my aging brain.

Great pocket size collection!
This flip book is the perfect size for a purse or backpack. The puzzles themselves are small so if you need large print, this isn’t the book for you. I am really happy with this purchase!

Great puzzle book for the novice.
My wife has been doing Sudoku puzzles for over twenty years. Since we are retired and getting on in years, I thought it might be a good idea to try more mentally challenging hobbies, like Sudoku, to keep the brain exercised. The book is divided into three parts: Sudo-What? (100 easy puzzles), Novice (75 puzzles), and Intermediate (25 puzzles). I found the Sudo-What puzzles to be a little too easy, and after doing about ten of them I skipped ahead to the Novice section. I also like the spiral bound flip-top configuration and the smaller size which make it very portable.

Bought as a Christmas present
My brother -in-law has found this very difficult. It was supposed to give him something to do, but he says that it has kept him awake at night trying to figure it out.

Just what we wanted for SEN student learning to write
I bought this for my disabled 15 year old son who is just learning to write. We needed sudokus that weren't too hard as he does them for practice with numbers rather than as a challenge. He also needed something that was not very big, but had squares that were big enough for him to write in.This little book is perfect. There is just one puzzle per page with no distracting graphics, with clear lines dividing the squares and clear numbers, which makes it suitable for those with visual difficulties. The sturdy board on the back means that it can be done away from a table, and the spiral binding means that it sits flat and open with no trouble. We are very pleased with it. It is just what the occupational therapist ordered!

Great for travelling.
Compact enough for travelling & has hard cover & spiral bounding. Has 3 levels so you can judge by counting the number of given numbers per puzzle & compare with puzzles you already have. Sudo-what has 36 given numbers, Novice has 32 & Intermediate has 28.

it's ok
This book was a disappointment as it is very small. However it makes a great book for your purse. When I went back to look at the description, it does give the measurements which I overlooked. The puzzles are very good and it is a good book.
