I dropped the controller on the kitchen floor and both of the controlling sticks snapped off on the first day we opened it. I have a very unhappy little boy.

This drone was terrible. I set it up correctly but the front two props didn't even spin!!!!

The media could not be loaded.  My husband has started playing with quadcopters and I wanted to get him a new one to play with. He has one of the little tiny micro drones, but it seems to have only two speeds: hovering nicely and smashing into walls. He is proud that he can get it to hover around the house, but it is a little bit touchy to fly. At about 12 inches across, this quadcopter is a decent size for flying outdoors, but has blade protectors so that it is pretty safe to fly indoors. The best part is that it is too big to land behind bookcases.One of the reasons that I chose this quadcopter is that it came with a great collection of spare parts and extras. For starters, it comes with three battery packs. We get a decent amount of flying time with each one, but it’s always so sad when the battery is drained. The fun’s over. With three of them, the fun doesn’t have to end just because one battery pack is dead. To make using all of the batteries easier, the quadcopter comes with a charger that can charge up to four batteries at once. An LED on each charging port shows the charging status. The charger plugs into a standard USB port, and it is important to have a high power charger or port if you want all of the batteries to charge quickly.Included with this quadcopter are additional spare parts. It has four full sets of replacement blades. In addition to a set of white blades that come installed, it comes with four sets of blades in red, blue, white, and black. It also comes with a spare set of blade guards and a spare set of landing gear. Pretty much anything that is likely to break has a replacement.One of the features that make this quadcopter a lot of fun is that it has a camera. The trim button on the transmitter switches between taking still frames and shooting video. A light shows which mode that the camera is in. The camera records to a microSD card that installs in a slot in the back of the camera. To view the video, I have to move the microSd card to a computer to read it.One thing to be careful of when recording is to be sure that you stop recording before powering down the quadcopter. It’s possible for the recording to be corrupted if you skip this step. The quadcopter does not have a transmitter on the camera, so you can’t watch while flying. The controller is a standard configuration, two joystick controller, and it has an informative LCD panel. While it has a button that lets the quadcopter do stunts, we’ve been working on controlling it smoothly for great video shots. I’m really pleased with the results so far.For what it’s worth, I don’t believe you should ever have to justify getting a toy. But, if you do, this drone works great for inspecting roof shingles. We’ve done it at our house and my parent’s house. It worked really well for both! I received this product for free in exchange for my fair and honest review.

The media could not be loaded.  This Maxbo drone kit is excellent. Perfect for anyone who wants to get into drones. It is not a large drone but more a medium size. The kit is packed with all kinds of things, which I really love! It comes with not just one, not just two but 3 batteries. It also comes with 4 packs of propellers, and an extra pack of propeller shields. It comes with a camera which I have to say takes great and very clear photos and videos, a 4 gb memory card, a car reader, a charger for your batteries, a remote control that is easy to use, a screw driver to put it all together and lots of fun. One thing that I really like is that the first set of propellers are already attached so you don't have to figure it out. You just screw on your shields, your legs, the camera, add your remote batteries and your all set. Fun pretty much right out of the box. This would make the perfect beginners kit. You can charge all your batteries at the same time and take it to the park or out into the back yard. The drone battery is easy to change out, the door slides off. It is a well made little drone. I myself am a beginner and have a hard time keeping it straight but with all the crashes I had nothing is broken. That is a plus in my book. The media could not be loaded.  OH MMMMM GHEEEE. this drone is quite possibly the COOLEST purchase I have long time. This drone has it ALL. Power, speed, action , fun and a CAMERA- Yes a camera. It comes with all types of extra attachments, so if you are like me, you have a back up if and when you mess some stuff up or perhaps crash it into a building or a small child. The actual drone comes with 3 rechargeable battery packs so you can continue the fun for ever. which is very convenient because the run time is not very long. The controller however didn't come with batteries, but a quick trip to Target cleared that up.The outdoor performance, according to my husband who is totally in to gadgets and things and who has a super expensive fancy pantsy drone, is very decent and sustainable for out door use.The screws to put it together are very small and easy to loose, so do NOT put this together in front of a curious puppy or toddler.I received this item at a discounted price for my honest and unbiased reviewOther than that, get ready for tons of fun!!!
