The elephant came in its own box protected with styrofoam on the inside of box + it was slid into a sturdy Amazon box for shipping, so very well packed & padded. The elephant itself is really well made, the solar lamp also a nice size.The color and texture of the elephant gives it a true metal look to it. It’s a great value for the money. It’s versatile, inside by a window to catch sun (to charge the solar light) or outside on your patio table for ambient lighting. It’s super cute!! It was a gift and the recipient loved it!! I got this for my sister in law because she loves elephants, and because I love her and just thought if her when I saw this and had to get it for her!It's small, but very elegant and well-made with quality material. She used it inside as a decoration above her headboard, and it fits perfectly with the rest of her decor.This shipped quickly and intact, and you cannot beat the price! Her room gets just enough natural light to power the solar panel, so the elephant's lantern makes a great night light.

This elephant solar lamp is absolutely adorable! The light is just enough and it looks nice on my patio. The only disappointment is that it is not very heavy, so if there is any wind more than a slight breeze it falls over. I have to pick it up and stand it upright a few times a week. I have started bringing it inside if storms are expected. I'd hate for it to blow away.

This elephant is just adorable. Like others have stated, the light in the lantern has its own mind. It worked the first night, then would work for a few minutes before turning off. The thing is, overall he is so cute! He was on sale, so I kept him. I did not put him outside as I could see where he would fall over in the first big wind. I wound up removing the lantern that came with him and replacing it with another one I purchased on Amazon. It works great and can be turned on and off--has a decent battery life. The biggest difference is the light color--the original is a bright white and the replacements are a yellow flickering light.
