Feeling Safer
Haven’t tried it yet but feel more confident.Recently while bicycling in the neighborhood my grandson and I were threatened by two large and aggressive dogs. Fortunately the owner heard the ruckus and called them off. It could have ended badly. Next time we have the means to defend ourselves if we have to.

Great product. Better customer service.
I accidentally ordered the small one for my road bike (it is very small in diameter). It didn’t fit. I reached out to customer service at night and almost immediately got a response from the owner who said he would send out a large one no problem. I got it two days later and love it.I mounted it on my bike and it is so much better than what I had before.Great product but even better customer service. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Super helpful for bikers being chased by dogs
I ordered this for my husband, who was being chased by dogs on his daily bike route. I ordered the smaller size and it fits perfectly on his handlebars. It gives me peace of mind that he has protection, and does the same for him. The company was easy to work with, product came quickly, and they have lifetime replacements for $1 for the small cans. So happy I found this, and encourage anyone to have this if you are riding your bike through neighborhoods to be safe. Now, I just have to get off my butt and start biking, and will order one for myself. Thanks again. Great product.

Mount Clip Doesn't Hold Bottle Tight Enough - Lost Pepper Spray first Bumpy Mountain Trail
I purchased this product to attach to my mountain bike (more like trail riding bicycle) for protection in a variety of situations. Pepper spray bottles of this size are widely available. The marketing that sold me was the statement "Bike Mount - Easy to Install Bicycle Holder for Road & Mountain Bikes". So, I'm really buying a mount not the spray.Be that as it may, after installing it I noticed that the bottle would often slide up and when riding on bumpy but paved roads and trails. As this concerned me, I tried putting a few layers of electrical tape around the bottle for better grip. Today was the first time I took my bike down a rough and rocky mountain bike trail. When I got to the bottom, guess what wasn't with me??? Yes, it had fallen off somewhere during the 2 mile descent.So, unfortunately, I would have to recommend that you purchase this product if you intend to place it on a bike that will be used on trails or roads that are not smoothly paved. The thin plastic clip that grips the bottle is just not tight enough to keep it from falling out.

They fixed my goof.
I ordered this pepper spray for my beach cruiser, but I selected the wrong mount. I should have ordered the smaller diameter mounting bracket.I admitted my goof to the seller and they replaced my mounting bracket the same day and at no charge.Bottom line: a great product and great service.

Good compromise
So far fairly happy. I installed on my bike prior to a weekend of 150 mile rural bike ride. I had several dog encounters, the most aggressive one was my first use. The can was easy to remove from the holder, but there’s no indexing to allow you to feel when the twist lock is in firing position, and looking down, while watching the dog and while riding isn’t easy. Also, the small size of the can meant that my hand got covered in pepper spray as I wasn’t able to adjust my hold before I had to use the spray. BUT...it did effectively get the dog away from me. The spray seemed to go 6-8 ft.The second use, on the same ride I manipulated the can better, but despite a direct hit it didn’t keep the dog from continuing to chase me, which was a surprise.I hope there is one more good spray left in the can.I think this is a good compromise for a cyclist. It’s small, convenient, secure, and fairly effective, but with the above potential issues to be aware of. I’m sure there are better sprayers, but I suspect they would not be as easy to frame mount or use.

New Holder is a big improvement
The manufacturer listen to feedback and improved the mount/holder so that it fits on modern bikes. The 2022 model really fits on my bike; last year's model did not.Fortunately, I've not had to use the spray, so I can't say how well it works. I purchased the spray to repel dogs after 2 of them chased me and the bike and caused me to fall resulting in a trip to the ER.
