Old tweeters died and have heard good things about Skar so took a chance. Running on a 1000 watt Hifonics amp and sound nice & crisp. Not too much & not too little. Even used factory bezel & plug.

Ordered the new Skar Tws01 tweeters , put them at 50rms on 4 channel amp, this is my first system build in 30 years sound is amazing also have kenwood 6.5, in all four doors and 4 Skar twetters 2 each in rear and front, sub's are memphis bass 12s on a 1000.1,amp definitely the tweeters set the final stage for sound quality definitely recommend! If you’re looking for a good quality tweeter that can handle a lot of power then I highly recommend skar audio. They might be priced cheaper than other higher end tweeters but for the price you won’t be disappointed.

I love the way silk dome tweeters sounds and these are no exception. They sound excellent until you start pushing them near the upper range of the 80 watts rms they are rated at. Around 60 watts rms they start to distort a little but not enough to be intolerable. At 70 watts rms it's clear that they are being pushed a little to hard and at 75 they sound like they are going to explode. To get the volume levels where I like them I have to turn down the gain on my cross over so they match the bass and still sound clean.I have them hooked up to a 75 watt x 4 stinger amp with cross over built in and match them with a 12 inch loaded sub and 6x9 mid subs. These speakers should be rated more at 60-65 watts rms. My old carbon fiber tweeters did not distort at the higher range of their rating. It's a common issue silk tweeters don't handle the power too well but I think they sound great anyway. I just don't like when companies say their power ratings higher than what the speaker can really handle.

I ordered these as a replacement for my 06 Colorado. The factory tweeters had both blown out and were never very good to begin with, so I decided to find a new set. The speakers themselves are quite sleek, and fit into the door quite well with a little trimming from a Dremel. They wired in without any extensions but extra wire is included if you don't want to do any splicing. The sound quality is quite impressive, especially considering the size. All in all, absolutely amazing for the price. I'll be purchasing a full set of Skar speakers for my truck. Also bonus points for the window sticker. I love stickers.

I bought these to replace the Factory A pillar tweeters in my 2004 Nissan pathfinder Platinum work truck with a factory premium Bose system. I gain staged the input to the factory amplifier to get some extra wattage out of it which almost doubled the output of the amp So It's pushing about 45 watts RMS. Stock speakers are 2 ohms but the stock tweets are 4 ohms. I switched them to these with the included base blocker capacitors, and they sound amazing! I have $90 Jbl Gto silk tweeters and $ 80 Polk DB series silk tweeters in my personal car and these Skars sound every bit as good if not better than them. IMO you would have to spend over $150 to get better silk dome tweets then these, They are a genuine bargain! If possible, I recommend mounting them in a way that they are angled toward your listing position, That makes a big difference. For $25 you can't go wrong, buy them and try them, You will not be disappointed, Also you can always count on all Skar products to over preform for their price point. Great company with great customer service.

These tweets are OK. Not thoroughly impressed with the sound. Probably wouldn't buy again.

Perfect fit in 3rd Gen 4Runners. You can use the original tweeter mounting bracket but you need to use the screw provided with the new tweeter. The Toyota screw is too long.
