Small size, fairly sturdy, no quality complaints
I weighed the good and bad reviews and decided to take a chance, since this is exactly want I wanted to make dioramas of tiny rooms to display painted miniatures--1:64 (S-scale, 28mm), 1:48 (O-scale, 32mm), and 1:32 (54mm) figures. I lucked out: the set I received are in perfect shape. The wood is thick enough to feel sturdy, and the gluing on the shelves is fine, about what I'd expect for the price. The cost was a bit more than what I'd expect to pay if I'd picked up something similar at a crafts store, but worth it for the convenience. Time will tell how the wood holds up to staining and decorating, etc.

Lightweight but stand the the test of time
I bought a set of these years ago and initially was disappointed by how light they were. But they've held up great and are high quality. I bought another set a few months ago because my kids are collectors of rocks and shells.

This is three different wooden display cases for small collectables. Purchased for my granddaughter who collects mini glass animals and crystals stones. She loves it. Includes hangers.
