SOG Tactical Backpack, Turbulence, One Size

Bought this for my son who really wanted a camo backpack. I deliberately stayed away from ones marketed toward kids that often seem to be kind of cheap in terms of quality and construction. I ended up being very happy with this backpack which is well constructed, of moderate size, and has all the pockets and features you could possibly want

I have used this backpack for 6 years now and have beat on it pretty good. All around really solid. love all the compartments and I even attached hooks to all the fabric bands to carry more at once. only thing negative to say is that the front pouch's zipper just broke after a little over 6 year now.

It's decent quality but the seams along the top near the shoulder strap support started to pop within a month or so. It's decent sized enough but its a tight fit for a 15 inch laptop, it works better for tablets and ultrabooks in that regard. theres plenty of pockets and organization, and the water resistance works well enough, i had to walk in a pretty good rainstorm and I was sure that everything inside was going to be soaked, but to my surprise the inside was still bone dry, just be aware there are eyelit holes in the bottom of the main pocket.

I've been using a Rush 24 and it was just too large for what I carry daily. I specifically wanted a bag that would fit my padfolio and my Surface tablet. This bag is perfect. The main compartment is just large enough, about 10" wide and 13" tall. There are two smaller mesh pockets on the inner front, wish they were a bit bigger. No padded tech pocket inside, but that's ok. Outside has a large and small front pocket. The large pocket has pen slots and more. And there is a small soft lined top pocket too. The asymmetrical zipper doesn't bother me (the water bottle pouch stops the zipper). The design is great, the construction and materials are very rugged. One odd thing is the molle on the sides. One of the loops wraps around the fold to the zipper which makes that slot narrow, but still usable. This was cheaper than some generic Chinese bags.

Got this for our Boy Scout as a daypack. It's just the right size to carry his essentials for the day and not get too heavy. Enough pockets to be able to organize and find everything. Great pack! It has been through two long, hard, wet and hot trips already, and it still looks new.

I have to say I am really impressed with the quality of this backpack. I bought another brand last year and the material was cheap, by the end of the school year it was ripped. This one however is canvas and way better! I can tell it will last without any issues. Not only is the material great but the zippers too seem very sturdy. Very happy with this purchase and the price was great as well.

Very well built and rugged. It is a small/medium size pack but I was looking for something compact so it fit the bill perfectly. Just enough space for several essential items before heading out on a hunt or hike.

Hard to find such a durable bag! I own 5 of them!

Great backpack for my camping trip! It's very spacey, and fits a lot of things. I love all the different compartments especially the padded one that I can put fragile objects into (like my phone or glasses). It's very durable and good quality, extremely light-weight. Overall, a great backpack! The only reason I put 4 stars is because these backpacks are VERY overpriced. Otherwise, I recommend.
