Purchased for an up coming project of automating water changes on my saltwater aquarium from a mixing station I am working on putting together in my basement where I can store large amounts of freshly mixed saltwater and pump water out of the aquarium and into a drain then another pump to deliver freshly mixed saltwater back into the aquarium. Looking forward to NOT having to carry buckets of water from the basement and through the house to maintain my reef aquarium. Can't wait for this project to be completed. It's going to be a game changer for me for sure. I will be able to actually enjoy the aquarium even more.

It's exactly what it promises, a piece of thick-wall very flexible, stretchable silicone tubing. It came clean, rolled nicely in a coil without kinking. It has thick side walls for strength, but being silicone, you can push this over a slightly larger nipple connection with no trouble. I'm using it to make connections between filters and pumps in an outdoor fish pond. Very flexible, so it will be easy to bend and tuck it out of sight.

It is quite soft, but the size I needed was only available with a wall thickness of 1mm, and so I wish it was slightly thinner and softer. Otherwise appears good quality.

Here's what you'll want to know:1. Have seen some "silicone" tubes that were a bit low on the silicone content and were very stiff. But this tube was EXCELLENT. Flexibility was very important to me, and these are spot on perfect. Also, does not kink easily... which was also important to me.2. The tube is also clear as a sheet of glass. So contents visibility will not be a problem at all.3. The dimensions were dead on, thank goodness. I knew exactly what I needed, and they sent the right tube!4. The length was supposed to be about 19.68 feet in length. That is not exactly right... THEY SENT MORE than that! I measured the length to be about 20-1/2 feet long. I love it when a vendor tells the truth about their product... or better yet, delivers more than what they promise.5. Their pricing was the best I could find on Amazon, and the reviews were stellar. I bought this tubing to use to feed the air assist nozzle on my laser cutter. The tubing is fantastic! It is very flexible, yet rigid enough to resist kinks, even at very tight angles. I have used 7mm X 9mm tubing in the past and it just doesn't compare. It is too flimsy to resist kinks when used with a drag chain. The extra 1mm of wall thickness makes a world of difference.

As a product, it was exactly what it was described as. It wasn't helpful for my particular application, but was an error on my part.

This product is an excellent silicone tubing-- it is thick-walled and not floppy. However, it is sold for food and medical supply, and the inner diameter (I.D.) is 5mm. What is needed for aquarium equipment use is 4mm I.D., so DO NOT buy this for aquarium environments. But it is so much thicker-walled and better than most silicone tubing I have run into on the market, so I would highly recommend for medical (oxygen machines?) or food (beer brewing). This is very clean and high quality tubing that will work well in a food and beverage setting. I use a good bit of this type of tubing, and I prefer the silicone tubing that is very close to clear so I can see what is in the lines. It's never perfectly clear because it's silicone, but there are definitely ones that are much clearer than others. This tubing is advertised as clear but is much more accurately described as translucent. If clearness doesn't matter for your application, this tubing is a home run. If clearness does matter, you may want to check other options.

Very flexible, quite transparent but not completely clear, and it didn't do anything when I held it over a lighter flame for 4-5 seconds. Quality of the material is very good. Highly translucent, but not completely clear. Choose vinyl if you require transparent. No chemical smell. Silicone is soft and supple, and does not slip off plastic fittings. Would buy again
