I bought this desk because of the handsome appearance, as well as plenty of shelf space for all of my story notebooks. Up to now, I was using a smaller desk that only had a keyboard shelf. It was bare-bones, and purchased through Aaron's. The surface was constantly cluttered with my messes, and I was desperate to find something that was, not only beautiful but practical and wouldn't break my budget. This desk fulfilled all of my criteria brilliantly. The quality of the materials is outstanding. The drawer bottom wasn't a plain piece of covered cardboard; it was actually a thin piece of real wood. The only complaint I have is that the directions were unclear at several points during the assembly, but with my daughter's help, we figured it out. I would highly recommend this company for any of your office furniture needs.Having been using it for a couple of weeks, I can honestly say that this is one of the best purchases I've made in quite a long time. It's sturdy, solid and I couldn't be prouder of it Definitely a company I'll be buying from again.

***UPDATE*** So I've had this desk for more than a year now, and I couldn't be more pleased. It has continued to be of the utmost sturdiness and has no additional signs of damage, even though it is in a small area and I bash into the side constantly! I use the door and drawer often and they still work great. I really can't recommend it enough.Let's get this out of the way-- yes, the instructions are a nightmare. My advice is to always look ahead a few steps and don't follow blindly. Do what makes the most sense.Other than that, I'm pretty pleased! As far as sturdiness, I can wiggle it the teensiest bit if I try really hard, but it's nothing I'm worried about. I've been using it a few days and I just noticed a tiny chip off the laminate from one of the bottom shelf corners, but this is placed in a really tight walking space so I'm not surprised. Also note that the laminate is ever so slightly textured like wood grain, so if you're a crafter like me you might need to put something beneath your work or you will see faux wood grain marks. Still, all in all I like the design of the desk more than any other I saw on this entire site, so I'm happy.

The desk is beautiful when together. Thankfully my husband is handy but even to him the instructions became a bit frustrating. It took him about 5 hours to get the thing together. That’s a bit much I think but it seems sturdy enough. I needed something larger than I was using working from home now for going on 3 years. I really like it and think it was worth the money so 4 stars taking one off due to the horrible assembly and packaging wasn’t the best.. styrophome everywhere! It fits my 2 large monitors plus my laptop which is awesome.

I'm starting a PC build, so I needed to get a desk. Out of everything I looked at, I liked this one the most. Initially when it arrived, the box was in absolute shambles. Very worried that I was missing items, I did a quick inventory. Everything was all there and in excellent condition! The assembly instructions were very clear and easy to understand (granted I put together the whole first half backwards and had to take it all apart.. my fault for not paying attention) It does take some time to assemble. Got it all together in about 3-3½ hours by myself, even with the misassemble mishap. I was truly expecting lower quality material for this desk and boy was I surprised to see how sturdy everything is. And the different shelves are perfect for all my trinkets and collectibles. My only issue is that my PC case just barely fit in its spot. Other than that, 5 stars all around!

My son had to come over and help me put the desk together because I found the instructions to be a bit confusing but he was able to figure them out fairly easily. It took a couple hours to get it completely together but it's very solid and sturdy so it was worth the time it took.My old desk had no shelves and the drawers were shallow so I am very pleased with all the extra room I have now.I have a desktop computer that has no tower but I do like to use a battery backup so that's in the little cabinet. I sawed a small square into the back panel so cords could be run through and it worked out perfectly.So despite the design of the desk being fairly open, all my cords are nice and neat and barely visible.My cat is a big boy and now he has plenty of room to nap on the desk with me because of the monitor shelf so he's happy too.

This desk offers a wide and sufficient work area while being affordable. Every day when I walk into my office, I am always amazed by how well and put together this looks. It allows me to organize all of my belongings vertically while having all of my objects within arm's reach. If you need a sturdy desk that is affordable and looks great, this desk is perfect for you.My one and only complaint about this desk are that the drawer shelf is a tad too small, but it is something that can be managed.
