The vinyl upholstery on our chiropractic treatment table was beginning to crack and split in just one spot. I purchased this to repair a splitting seam on an older leather sectional. The tap is versatile as you can cut to size but it is not adhering well at both ends and I have had to press it down a couple times to keep if from rolling up. Update: Company reached out to me and offered a full refund, which was accepted and applied. Good customer service support.Purchased for my leather couch. Cleaned leather first (with leather cleaner), then followed up with water to ensure no cleaner remained. Waited 24 hours to ensure it was good and dry. Unrolled the tape and laid out on the floor to ensure it laid flat. Applied the patch tape to my couch, held it in place, released and it stuck "briefly". Within one hour was self pealing away at all the seams (without anyone sitting on the couch. If the repair was on a seat that you were sitting on, it probably would work well. It just doesn't seem to adhere well when applied in a vertical direction. So good for when applied on any part that will have someone seated and applying pressure from their body weight.

Needed something to patch some worn places on our 5th wheel blackout shade. It matched really well, easy to put on and several weeks later even with raising and lowering the shade these patches haven't tried to cone off. Very satisfied with this product.
