Bought these to use as IR point trackers. They work perfectly for that application.

The holder is glued onto the image sensor, making it impossible to change out the holder as intended; however, that issue can be resolved with the purchase of a separate set of lenses that can screw in further towards the image sensor. After making the changes to the lens, I was able to achieve great image quality and proper focus. The seller offered a partial refund for the slight discrepancy in my expectation of the product, which I declined, but it was appreciated. The seller also worked with me to try to create a solution to the issue. They shared with me that you could take a hair dryer or low temp heat gun and carefully separate the holder from the image sensor, but I did not want to attempt this and possibly damage the device. Try at your own risk.

Truely monochrome - bayer-less. There are no markings on the lens at all. When I compared this to a similar camera with a KNOWN 3.6mm lens (75* equiv FoV), this lens was WAAY wider than 75*. This is easily a 100*+ fisheye lens.

I use two of these in conjunction with my Uneekor Eye Mini Launch Monitor and they work exactly as they should. I've verified that they're actually getting 120fps through Kinovea as well. I used a case and lens from a Kayetons color camera. The color camera needed too much light but these monochrome ones work much better for me. No regrets!

Got this camera in hopes of being able to use the external trigger function but it is very buggy. I contacted Arducam support but they haven't been able to help me with the bugs. Works great as a standalone camera otherwise though but the trigger function is kind of a dealbreaker for my application. Be aware.

It is advertised as running up to 100 fps. For me this is not true, even with mjpeg compression enabled I can't exceed 73 fps regardless of settings. I'm keeping it as at 73 fps it's fast enough for my needs, but it doesn't run as advertised.
