Used for Indoor aviary
I breed parrots which spend half the year indoor. This full sun bulb is fantastic and enables vitamin absorption that would normally only be available from being in the sun. Ensure you burn it off for 72hrs before using close to your beloved.

All UV bulbs will only give UV for 6 months to be of use
ALL UV bulbs will give off a light for much longer than 6 months, usually for years, BUT after the specified amount of time, they don't emit the beneficial UV light at the required levels to be of benefit to the bird/fish/reptile it is designed for and you should change it. They are expensive and our eyes will not see the change in the bulb light but the bird will. It doesn't matter which manufacturer it is and I'm sure this one is fine at a cheaper price, just make sure you change it when told to, otherwise it is pointless using one.
