Q: Very disappointed. Why does it not line up with the predrilled holes on my very expensive new door. On my way to by a new set.

The same happened to me. I ended up using this handle but then used a deadbolt from another brand in the same finish so that it would line up

it can work on left or right hand doodrs

Q: what if you dont have a key to your existing door? I moved to a house where they lot all the front door keys.
