Good value and works well
This mineral oil works as expected. I use oil and vinegar it to clean my wood furniture and cabinets. This was my first time using mineral oil, which is much less expensive than the oils I previously used. I was so pleased by how it worked on my cabinets that I’ll be trying it on my wood cutting boards instead of the expensive cleaner I normally use. It seems to be a good value for the money and I believe it will last quite a while.

Purchased for Making Cutting Board Butter
I purchased this mineral oil for making "Board Butter" for a new wooden cutting board. Here's the recipe I used: 4-parts food-grade mineral oil - this product worked great! 1-part beeswax (by volume). I put 12 fl oz mineral oil in a 2-cup measuring cup, then added enough beeswax chunks to raise the level to ~15 fl oz. I then poured everything into a double boiler and melted together. I added a few drops of lemongrass essential oil (what I had available: I thought the scent would be nice, but you could use other scents) and then poured into two 1-cup jam jars and let it set over night. You would probably want to use a dedicated pan if you had it-- beeswax can be a bit of a mess and generally benefits from a dedicated container when working with it. The resulting mixture looks like and is the approximate consistency of firm butter. I used it on my new wood cutting board with great success (see right side of cutting board without; left side with), but have since discovered its usefulness for my kitchen knives as well. It's great at preventing moisture and rust on high-carbon (non stainless) knife blades, and I also rub a bit on my stainless knife blades after I hone and strop them, and it makes ongoing clean-up and maintenance a snap. Put a bit on a Damascus blade and watch the metal pop. Although I use the board butter for many purposes, in 3 months I've probably used a half-cup total. So a gallon of mineral oil will probably last me a lifetime. However, with the holidays approaching and some foodie siblings, I'll probably make some for gifts as well. Glad I found this high quality and economical mineral oil!

It’s Like Spa Day for Your Cutting Boards – And They Deserve It!
Let me tell you, I had no idea my cutting boards were living such a rough life until I saw them soak up this Sanco Industries Food Grade Mineral Oil like they'd just crossed the desert. Seriously, they were thirsty. One sip of this stuff and suddenly, they went from “I’m on my last leg” to “I’m ready for my close-up.” First off—this oil is NSF Certified, which means it’s food safe, and I won’t have to explain to my family why their sandwiches taste like motor oil. That’s a win. It’s odorless, clear, and so smooth it makes me wonder if my cutting boards are secretly at the spa living their best lives. I got the gallon size, because let’s be honest—I don’t have time to keep running back to the store every time my butcher block gets a little dry. Also, when you have a gallon of mineral oil sitting on your shelf, you feel like you really have your life together. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll finally oil that wooden spoon from 2013. The application? Easy. I even warmed it up a little like a five-star chef—fancy, right? My cutting boards drank it up faster than me at an open bar wedding. Also—bonus—it works great on stainless steel! No more greasy fingerprints announcing to the world that I just made five grilled cheese sandwiches at 2AM. Bottom line: This stuff is liquid magic. Your wood will love you, your stainless will shine, and you’ll look like you know what you’re doing in the kitchen. I’ll definitely buy it again

Cutting board use
I use this for my cutting board. Works great. Was using the boos block product, but this is much cheaper and appears to be the same result. So using this. Save money.

Rain oil
It was a good product. Only thing is is the gallon didn't have a seal on it it would have been all over the place. There was no cap on it just a seal

Hace su trabajo perfectamente, con la garrafa da para mucho. Apenas da color a la madera, solo realza los tonos un poco.

I got this to use on a new butcher block countertop. It works well and seems to be a good quality. Great alternative to doing a chemical based seal coating on your butcher block counter tops. However you’ll have to apply this around once a month to keep it looking good. It took around 4 coats on every side. Then after a few days I applied a Howard beeswax feed-n-wax. Turned out great.
