Well worth it.
I was going to buy from the app and decided to check Amazon. Good thing I did, it was half the price and when I received the ring sensor, it was the same size, fits well and works great. I’m happy with my purchase. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Hello fellow CPAP users: try "OSCAR" software with your Wellue/Viatom products
My Wellue/Viatom oximeter stopped holding a charge. While contemplating whether to reorder the same wrist+finger combo unit or switch to the new "only a ring" design, I decided to read through the reviews. In the reviews, I see people mention some dissatisfaction with the app. I was dissatified, too, and searched apnea forums for suggestions. (This is a few years ago.) Everyone recommended "OSCAR", a free open-source program. It imports data from your APAP SD card and from a USB connection to this oximeter. OSCAR generates time-synced charts for everything. The CPAP and oximeter charts appear under each other (or any way you want them). It's frigging awesome. Try it!

Works
I have a SleepU that is over a year old. It became intermittent in operation, losing it's red source sporadically. Idecided to try a new sensor ring. Received the replacement ring quickly and it works well. Readings are in the same range as the original and no more intermittency. The ring does seem a bit tighter, but that allows me to use my thumb and my index finger comfortably. I recommend trying this product before investing in a whole new SleepU.

Good alternative, half the price
This sensor ring works just as good as the original and at half the price, the only issue I have is the material is slightly more rigid and restrictive, resulting in the sensor ring being to tight and stopping blood circulation. My fix for the tightness is to occasionally stretch the sensor ring by placing it on my thumb knuckle a few times daily, and over the course of several days it starts to feel a little more like the original. I equated to a new pair of shoes that have to be broken in. I intermitentely switch which finger it on, and occasionally I switch hands.Pros: Works great and is half the price.Cons: To ridgit and need to be broken in., The original sensor ring is twice the price, but constructed out of softer material.

Excellent replacement
This is an excellent product that, along with the accompanying wrist power source and recording device provides reliable blood oxygen and pulse rate measurements every 4 seconds whenever your arm is steady. After using mine for about 2 years I had to replace this detector. Plugged it in; works fine!

Good sensors.
Works great.

Poor quality
This accessory worked briefly. I had to order this as replacement for original when that one failed right after warranty expiration. Additionally I had to order new charging cord. Now nothing works. Would never recommend this Wellue unit.

A bit tight fit in fingers but works well
Fits the O2 Vibe watch and the Wellue watch products. The type D USB connector is hard to find, so such sensors are difficult to replace with similar products. Works as intended but feels more snug than O2 Vibe sensor than is now discontinued. Can be uncomfortable when placed on thumb but works as well when placed on other fingers.

Very nice device, but…
The sleep oxymeter machine itself seems to be working well after 2 years of use every night. The only problem is the ring sensor that doesn’t last longer than 3-4 months. It’s my 4th replacement sensor ring already. It doesn’t get worn out, stretched of damaged visually. The sensor itself works well for a while, than progressively starts to malfunction with periods of straight lines shown in the app, and than, when the “ERROR 4” is displayed, that means it’s done, even if it looks like a brand new one still. Perhaps order 2 ring sensors and keep one in backup to make sure the main device remains usable without interruption. That’s my opinion.

Ring sensor
The ring part is very fragile , I took care of it, but it stoped working aprox after 4 months . But good thing it’s replaceable ! Otherwise it’s good
