I purchased two of these for my coffee shop. The activation star/disk on both of them was completely stripped out within a month of use. "Conveniently" the seller sells replacement disks. If you read the reviews on those items, you can gather that this happens frequently. I contacted the seller to see if they would send me disk replacements for my items, and they said 'no'. They want me to return the items. These items are installed by a plumber, so as you can imagine, once you have these in place, it is not so easy to return them. The ones I bought from Espresso Parts for another shop have been working for two years without issue. You should consider that item instead. Update: After swapping out the plastic disk with the stainless one, and removing the ridiculous rubber coverings they put on them, the rinser works fine. Just add the price of the stainless disks/stars into the cost of the item from the start, and compare from there. The one thing I like about this rinser is that the drain is on the end rather than in the middle. It's much easier to get the item to drain since you can create a slight slope towards the drain, which doesn't work if the drain is in the middle.
