This funnel threads into the fill hole of a Toyota or Lexus 2GR 3.5L V6, which makes for a much neater oil change experience than using a generic funnel, especially as the 3rd revision of the 2GR has a slotted baffle near the opening, blocking most deep funnels. The clear section of this funnel allows one to observe the oil poured, which though not necessary, is still a nice feature. The accessory that comes with this funnel is a filter tap that pushes open the anti-drain-back valve of the filter housing, allowing waste oil to vent before the filter is removed. The included hose is silicone and very long, much nicer than what's sold in most hardware store. I saved the hose for other uses and replaced it with a short length of stiff and straight hose to drain the oil down into my catch pan.

Well engineered product. The funnel is really spill proof. This model was a perfect with our our 2022 Lexus RX350. The drain adapter for the filter cartridge while not absolutely a must have, did a very nice job with controlling the flow of oil. The tubing is very long and I had to cut it almost in half (very generous). Of course I didn't read the instructions but I figured it out that you have to screw the main body in first then twist in internal/center threaded piece to open the cartridge valve. Now that I totally confused, you can figure it out. Well designed. Again, you can just get by with the plastic adapter included with the replacement filter but you have to add your own hose. That being said, most mechanics don't even bother draining the cartridge to save time.

The funnel makes it easier to add engine oil because you don't have to hold on to the funnel. The oil filter drain makes it less messy but it appears to be lower quality than I expect from the photo. They both function but I just expected slightly higher quality. Someone recommended changing the filter without draining it first, it does work and is much quicker, but it is also slightly messier.

Works like a charm. Forget that plastic water bottle stuff. THIS is the ticket. It works. Period. Well worth the money to save a bunch of headaches...and messes.

Makes oil changes even easier and reduces the mess to almost zero.

You may get oil in without a mess, but without this filter drain system,,, that's just stupidity. Worked so nice and clean, did not get a drop of oil on me or even my rubber gloves 👍👍
