Top Notch skillets, non stick dream
Perfect skillets and truly non stick...if you are used to cooking stuff at a high heat on the burner, DON'T do it. No need to cook on high...maybe that is why some people complained that food stuck. Some of the photos that I saw in the 1* reviews had food stuck & looked as if the food was cooked way too high. I cook fried eggs, scrambled eggs, potatoes and rib eye steak and never once have I experienced sticking. I do know the instructions say NOT to use aresol sprays like Pam...they say only to use the pump type or mist type non stick products, so I do.The skillets are easy to hand wash (with soap & water) as well. I do not put my skillets in the dishwasher.

Best pans I’ve ever owned.
I have a complete set of the pots and pans with lids etc etc. I purchased these as an extension of that set. They are easy to clean, heat evenly and maintain that heat and if you use the proper utensils they remain non stick for a very long time.I usually add a bit of butter or oil of some kind to aid in the non stick but also for flavor.DO NOT clean with harsh detergent and always use a sponge or a non abrasive brush and they will stay nice and scratch free. Also, hot hot water is key in helping to breakdown any grease or residue. These pans are worth every penny you pay.

Excellent pan, don't buy the set
The 10" pan is all you want from a nice, nice-stick pan. Thick walled, even heating, fast heating, durable. The handle remains cool, and despite the thickness of the walls it's not heavy. So all in all, and excellent pan. However, don't buy the set. While the 10" pan is pretty much perfect, the 8" pan's handle is about 2" too short. At first I couldn't figure out why they'd do this, then I realized that if the handle was the appropriate length, the pan would fall over. The handle is so short it's almost unusable, as it gets too hot that close to the pan. And I don't have very large hands. This would be a 5-star product if not for the handle length of the 8" pan.

Will last for years, IF you follow the instructions.
The only reason I'm having to buy these pans, is because of my son-in-law. He has ruined my other pans by NOT FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS. These are the rules with any non-stick pan that you want to KEEP non-stick. 1) No high heat! These pans work exceedingly well at low and medium. Even pre-heating these pans on high will warp the metal and damage the non-stick coating. 2)HAND WASH ONLY! Automatic dishwasher detergents have caustic agents in them that will damage certain metals and will ruin non-stick coatings. 3) NO SPRAYS! Things like Pam have a propellent in them that will also damage the non-stick coating. 4) NO COLD WATER ON A HOT PAN! Who does that? I've seen him take a sizzling hot pan and run cold water right out of the faucet on it. Really? I'm sure that he does that to get the grease out, while the pan is still hot. But, doing so will warp the metal and ruin the non-stick coating. 5) NO METAL UTENSILS! Again, who does that? I've seen metal spoons, ladles, forks, spatulas and even KNIVES used on my pans. Don't do that. Just.....DON'T.Calphalon brand pans are some of the best on the market and will last YEARS if they are treated with care and respect. I have a full set of Calphalon pots and pans. I am very pleased with them and have full confidence that everything I cook in them is going to turn out great. Good purchase. Five stars.

excellent
Received these about 2 weeks ago and we could not be happier. They are well built and extremely easy to clean. The handles are braded on not screwed. The handles get warm to hot the closer you get to the pan itself but if you put a comfortable grip on the handle it is not hot just warm not hot at all. Nothing sticks to the pan and after letting them cool a bit just run warm water into the pan and everything washes right off. Take care of them and they should last a long time.

Having trouble with them upholding their warranty
10/2/21 Update - Yesterday I FINALLY got to speak to someone at Calphalon and I wasn't on hold forever. She created a new case and upgraded my replacement pans to their Signature Series for the aggravation of getting mine replaced (and I don't think they have any more of the 8" pans of what I originally bought). I think it might take up to a few business weeks to receive. Still not changing the title of my review because I did have trouble getting someone to resolve this. I did raise it from 1 star to 3. I hope these pans hold up much better than my originals.I was working with a customer service person who agreed to replace my 8" and 10" pans. We've been communicating since 9/5/21 after I submitted the warranty claim. I've had some family issues which interfered with my being able to give them all of the information they wanted (since I was out of town and couldn't get pictures), but that's been done. I've been trying to get in touch with this person to see when I can expect the replacement pans and she's fallen off of the face of the Earth. It's now 9/30/21 and I would like to know just how much longer I have to cook in my sticky pans. I tried calling today after they stopped communicating with me via email and, like everybody else, they "are experiencing very heavy hold times". I held on; it sounded like the phone was answered and then there was nothing. I have not cooked on high temperatures. I've hand washed these pans and used nothing but wooden or plastic utensils, but the oil seems to have stuck to the sides of the pan and now food sticks to the bottom.
