Nicely made, sturdy & guaranteed hours of fun. Gifted to my 5 year old grandson & first night fell a sleep playing with them. Great gift for your dinosaur lover.

My son was very excited about these dinos but two of them came missing pieces and they aren’t very durable. If I wouldn’t have gotten a good deal on them, I’d be returning them.

I was surprised by this set.On the one hand, the images make it seem like it's big (it's about 12" tall when combined), but then you get this tiny little box that they come in and think "nah, not possible they're in there..." but they are.The egg mode is roughly the size of an Easter egg you'd find in a basket, more or less. The dinosaur modes are roughly double that when you get them transformed correctly. You get a bunch of pieces strewn about and you'll initially wonder what to do with all of them but they all get used and they're necessary for the completion of the robot.Speaking of completion... The instructions are awful on this thing. You'll be confused 'til the cows come home because it's all line art and they all look the same at first glance. You have to look very closely to get these figured out. Two are made specifically to form the feet and legs, two made for the arms, and two for the torso. One of those forms the chest and head of the robot and you're going to want to start with him, first. Don't put the head on all the way, you'll have a horrible time getting it back off of the peg and even risk breaking it if you're not careful. (Shame about the design of that.)So many pegs and ports and this and that, but it works in the end. They do combine and they do form a robot. It's a bunch of pretty colors thrown together with goofy-looking parts and accessories. Problem is, I'm not entirely sure what the audience is for this particular product. Smaller kids will definitely need adult assistance, older kids will be able to use it just fine but I don't think they're really into this, and adult collectors need not apply. (Feels like KO plastic to some degree. Better than, but still...)I think a bit more fit and finish fixes would go a long way to making the process and the fun a bit smoother, I think finding the right audience is a bit tough, and I don't think the MSRP is what this set is worth. I think it could be better and I think it will lose its luster rather quickly.Get it on sale, if at all.

These dinosaur transformer toys are your average plastic toy that can move around to look slightly different. These work well, the parts move easily, and so far they've been pretty sturdy. There's nothing really spectacular about them that makes them super fun or stand out, but they're ok for what they are.

I ordered these dinosaur transformers for my 4 year old grandson. The description states that it is suitable for children ages 3-12. I disagree!!They are extremely frustrating and the directions are horrible. We have spent the last 3 hours trying to figure them out. Maybe they would be fine for older children but I do NOT recommend these for children under 6 or 7 years old!

Sort of fun. Not really transforming. And when you combine them together it's not the sturdiest robot. But even so, the kid really likes it.

My son loves them. There was one egg missing though and he actually asked about it. That’s my only disappointment.
