Very solidly built; Compact and easy to handle, but with some heft; Easy, smooth playing - slide is very quick and smooth - probably the best I've seen - built for comfort AND speed. Top octave needs some breaking in but everything is operative. Lower octaves are clean sounding and well tuned. You need play it carefully - with good technique - that's a GOOD thing.One star off because the sound of this harp isn't particularly full or resonant. The sound of my Hohner Super Chromonica 48 is better. But the Hohner larger and has wide, rectangular holes. It's a trade-off - I prefer playing the Hering.
