Afrikaans is relatively new. Sure, there have been problems concerning this language and its use.It is now more accepted and used than ever before.Any English speaker would find this an useful way to start speaking the language.Afrikaaners can easy learn English, too.

Excellent book for beginners

Disappointing. IF I was a beginner it would not be very helpful as no guide to grammar or pronunciation is given. However, I am not a beginner learner and I found several anomalies in the text.
