This power distribution box was just the thing I needed when my old power supply box stopped working. It has 18 ports which is a few more than I needed, but if I decide to expand my camera system I can now do so with no problem. I also purchased 20 Male DC 2.1mm x 5.5mm Wire Power Pigtails Adapter Barrel Plug Sockets. The wires are 20'' long which gave me plenty of slack to run them through the side of the box. The box has easy to connect electric lugs for the wires on the pigtails that tighten down with a screwdriver. From the time I took this out of the package to having my cameras working again was about 15 to 20 minutes. It is very sturdy and comes with 2 keys to lock it. I would buy it again if I have the need in the future.

The security cameras in our home are wired and receive power from a distribution panel. The old power supply stopped working and I replaced it with this item. The install was very easy and this distribution panel works great. I was very impressed with the quality of this item from the minute I unboxed it. I would purchase again without hesitation.

I am a commercial security camera technician. Over the years, I have used a variety of enclosures similar to this one and they all are about the same with a few basic differences. I ordered this panel for a client because they had their cameras connected to a patchwork of mini power supplies and they burned out leaving them with nothing. It is always a good practice to install a power panel each time. The main reason(s) why I say do this, is (01) it offers a more professional appearance, (02) it provides balanced power to each camera (especially over longer distances), (03) each circuit is individually fused for protection not only for the panel but for any equipment that is connected namely cameras. If one should happen to go out, it is limited to just that camera, the others stay online.

Like that it requires no fuses, and comes with power cord.

I am satisfied with the product, it was easy to install and it works perfectly. I have purchased three of these power supplys.

I have no dislikes, my cameras are running smoothly now and if I were to have any failure there's a fuse to protect each camera. Make sure to order the power adapter that plugs into the cameras power and has two wires that you wire up to the + and -. A little tip is to wire up the + and - and then plug in the cameras power or solder them in to the lines already connected to the box. Trying to connect them one at a time was hard because I spliced them into the power line of the camera
