They were perfect for holding my modern artificial grass plants on a high ledge in my home for that modern Asian design influence. Light weight, inexpensive yet looks like stainless steel. Perfect!

Excellent planter if you're wanting to match up with brushed nickel or stainless steel. We were trying to find a tip-proof plant pot (cat likes to bump his head against it when he's socializing with us, which knocks it over, spilling dirt everywhere) on our kitchen island. (We don't eat or prepare food on this island, so don't freak out.) This cylinder planter is ideal - we placed the tapered bottom pot with drip dish inside of the cylinder, and placed the cylinder on a silicone trivet on the granite top, and the plant stays exactly where placed, and our cat can brush against it happily without risk of knocking everything on to the floor.Although it looks like brushed metal, the cylinder is made of plastic, so there's no corrosion to deal with. And because it's made of plastic, it's very lightweight.Truly an excellent value!
